An incredible nursery well stocked with a huge variety of herbaceous perennials, many that were rare and unusual. I am so pleased with the plants I bought (Ligularia Cheju 'Charmer' and Aruncus 'Horatio') - which are great quality and much better value for money than what generic garden centres provide. The lady who runs it was really helpful too. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful plants that represent great value for money. My wife and I both agree that the hanging baskets we’ve purchased this year are without doubt the best we’ve ever had. Warm, friendly and highly knowledgeable service from both Robert and Linda. Well worth a visit and thoroughly recommend!

My husband and I have bought our plants from here for several years now.The family who run the business are always friendly and most helpful. The quality of the plants/shrubs etc are of high quality. Our large garden is a beautiful arrangement of hanging baskets, tubs & borders....thank you for your help and advice

Brilliant Nursery, love to visit, it's in such a beautiful part of Derbyshire. The family who run it as so nice, knowledgeable about planets and gardening and are always so helpful. Never come away empty handed as there's always such a good selection of such wonderful plants. Highly recommend you visit.

We love this place! Their horticultural knowledge is amazing and they are so willing to advise if you have any questions. The quality the plants is far superior to those in standard diy stores and the variety is just fab! I wouldn't buy my plants anywhere else. The drive out threis beautiful and the setting is just so glorious . Great place, can't wait to visit again

Always has unusual plants grown strongly on site. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great nursery, the perennials I bought last year look wonderful and have cheered me up during lockdown.

By far the most well-stocked plant nursery in Derbyshire and beyond. Have visited several times in recent years to reinvigorate my herbaceous border and re-stock my herbary. I have always found them to be very reasonable and their plants always thrive post-purchase. The tall young, rugged gentleman with the mop of hair, along with the older refined lady, often to be found in the large poly tunnel, are both very knowledgable, offering an impressive generation to generation pedigree of horticultural expertise. Something you won’t find in the larger, soulless garden centres. The location also offers the customer a commanding, idyllic vista of the surrounding dales. An oasis of beauty. Highly recommended.

rude and unhelpful staff. made to feel very unwelcome. shame as some interesting plants albeit pricey for the quality/size. many plants came with free bonus plants ie weeds. wanted 50 or 60 plants , but don't want to give these people my money.
