Last year in Canteen in Southwold we had British lentils sourced from Hodmedods. Last week we had Hummus made with their Flamingo peas (new to us and by the looks of it fairly new to the market). Suffice to say we were impressed enough to seek them out and get a bundle of grains/pulses to take home. Email contact assurred we could colect on the way home and the selection and quality is great. Excited to make my own pease pudding and on Friday it's time to make the hummus. Some folks have dissed their tie up with Holland and Barrett, but don't seem to understand Ambassadorial involvement. That is making changes from being inside an organisation.

Since aligning themselves with the awful Holland and Barret we will be launching a large scale campaign to have hodmedods included on the Green Wash watch list as an unethical company.

Holland and barrets have about as bad a record as the likes of coca cola and shell. Investested in destroying our people and planet, but with these guys, done in the name of health! Very sad times for ethical consumerism.

Time to avoid hodmedods at all costs and support growers who do not sell out to corporate interests after building a clean reputation. Very typical behavior of post colonial capatalists whose only interest is money and are willing to thwart the momentum of honest consumers who just want what is fair.

EDIT** in reply to your reply, By aligning yourself with a tax avoiding aggressive multi billion dollar corporation that has a proven terrible track record for enivornmental and community destruction, your only prolonging the transition towards this sustainable future you espouse in your reply. Classic greenwash rhetoric. Conscious consumers will be made aware.

Where have you bean all my life!

Honestly so pleased when I found this site, ticks all of the boxes so I'm surprised more people aren't aware of this! Great for everyone - vegans and carnivores alike. I couldn't recommend more highly.
Good value, environmentally friendly, vegan, sustainable, loads of choices.
Just waiting for them to sell lentils...
Love that I can buy in bulk and reduce packaging and costs. I cook up big batches, and then freeze them. I use their beans every day.
