I was pleasantly surprised as I have been before and it wasn't great. The reviews here suggest it hasn't changed. It's changed a lot, the bar, restaurant and lobby have all had a makeover and looks much more in keeping with the Hilton name. The bedroom main part of our room was good too. ||The service and the food were great, the staff were friendly.||I only gave average as we needed an accessible room. The disabled parking is not really accessible apart from one ramp I only found the next morning as it was dark when we arrived. Also all the doors from the accessible ramp need manually opening. I'm not sure if my husband would manage on his own, even an extra set of manual opening doors to access the disabled room which I though was crazy! I think some thought needs to be put into the accessibility of the hotel. Room 168 needs something doing with the bathroom too||But this has improved a lot, just needs a little more!

I recently stayed at the London Watford Hilton with my partner. First, the restaurant serves great food, and the bar also good and. reception is welcoming, with friendly and efficient service. Rooms are Comfy and clean as we expected. However, the hotel itself feels a bit tired. Would recommend for short stays.

What a wonderful team! Every member of staff that we interacted with during our stay was helpful, friendly, and most importantly seemed happy to be there and look after us. |The two gentlemen that were working the night shift on Thursday 28th November (sorry, I didn’t get their names) were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for either of them. |The breakfast team were great and all enjoyed interacting with our 9 month old! Pinal kindly showed us around the breakfast buffet stations after we informed her that we’re vegetarian, and Carol (I think that’s her name) was chatty and friendly.|Thank you to everyone that made us feel like part of the Hilton family.

Spacious room, good beds and pillows. Bar stock was low and bar said due to Jan. But prices charged were same regardless they were out of almost all whiskies. Had to order different drinks each time.

My room was great except the bathroom light didn't work. Very comfortable bed.
The people on reception were very shiny and well groomed but a bit useless at human interaction. I think they live in the digital age where people do everything online. Trying to resolve an issue on the booking in the real world using words, charm and eye contact seemed to be beyond their skill set. Very odd.

My family and friends stayed here to go to Warner Bros Studio. We went down to the restaurant for lunch, and it was a pretty bad experience. The bar staff were shockingly slow. When we ordered drinks, before we got them, they must've forgot about us, because they started serving other people after us, and we had to up and ask them again for our order. It must've been apprentice day or something. I went to pay with cash, and it took the waitress nearly ten mins to figure out how to open the till and discover there was no money in it. The food we ordered was pretty standard stuff, but took over an hour to arrive, which was some of it was cold. I would understand if the place was busy, but it was only us and another couple in that afternoon.
One other guy actually had to cancel his lunch and leave to go back to work, as it was taking ages to make him a toasted sandwich.
Considering the price we paid, we were all extremely underwhelmed.
We thought we'd give the place a chance for handiness, but we now wish we went elsewhere. The vending machines are also overpriced, and failed to provide us with a few items, even though it took our money.
For a Hilton hotel, it certainly didn't meet the same standards as other Hilton's we've stayed in.

I am happy with the stay here, the gym inside here is absolutely excellent…considering it’s a hotel gym.||My only critique is that it would have been refreshing to have a mini fridge or cooler in the room.||But one member of staff named Pranab has been extremely helpful and provided me with what I’ve needed when I’ve asked. I would definitely stay here again!
