This is a gem of a garden centre! It's well stocked, reasonably priced, well laid out with clear signage which not only signposts you to the right stuff but also gives you inspirational ideas! The staff were very friendly. Efficient checkout. Amazingly well located in the centre of town. I picked up some great gardening supplies AND a couple of delicious local beers - great time all around. My plants are already looking happier and some microgreens are on their way. It looks like the shop is independent and has a long history too. It was a pleasure to shop there and I'll definitely be back!

I can't praise the place enough, i had a patch of ground outside my house that was just mud, i went to a garden centre just outside of Banbury and asked for some advice, only to be abruptly told I'd have to come back in the week, i left and found Hillier Garden Centre in the centre of Banbury (never even knew it was there!) I asked at the desk for some advice and was introduced to the wonderful Lucy, she spent around 20 minutes walking me around, telling me what plants were best suited for the area and her expertise was second to none, she signed me up to the gardening club and saved me some money too, definitely a credit to the company. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I visited a couple of weeks ago to buy some pots for repotting my house plants and I came across the most loveliest, attentive and informative member of staff I could have asked for. I didn't catch her name but she was a little older perhaps in her late 40's?! with long wavy blondeish hair. She was talking to me about all the different types of houseplant and advised me to purchase a 'Fantasy Venice' which I'm super pleased I did as it is flourishing and looks beautiful. She also helped me to select the best indoor soil and took my items to the till for me.
I just want to highlight this member of staff as she didn't have to help me like this. I only asked her if they sold compost! and I was delighted by how much advice and assistance I was given. Thank you

Lovely garden centre and have had good service in the past. Sadly, and am not sure why as I am a polite, friendly customer and am quite aware that attitude breeds attitude, but the service was not very friendly today. This is meant in a constructive way just to flag it.

Really friendly staff! Genuinely the most enjoyable shopping experience I have had since lockdown. Very well managed social distancing and trolley cleaning, cheerful welcome and lots of space and stock. Plants were great and very well priced. Will definitely be visiting again 🙂
