A very nice place to visit especially on a sunny day. Great views from the restaurant towards farmland and distant hills as well as the canal marina full of colourful narrow boats. Walks along canal to Edstone Aqueduct and other trails. Bumpy drive up to free car park. Disabled parking near restaurant. Nice food and pleasant staff.

Only popped in for diesel ended up staying 2 months - think that says it all!! Great place, well run by David and his team. Will definitely stop again when in the area (assuming we can get in as a popular mooring). Location is perfect with great facilities and 'The View" sums it up, breathtaking.

I have just left this Marina where I moored my new boat over Christmas. I had to leave a review as they were all fantastic! From helping moor the boat on a very windy day when I admitted it was only my 2 day ever at the helm, to answering my questions about this that and the other, thank you for your patience. They couldn't have done more to help me. A massive thank you and a shout out to the young staff who work in the bar/coffee area, all so very friendly, smiley and kind. What a lovely experience.

Went to the view, would recommend a visit. Great view of the marina & countryside dog friendly with various set walks. The food is very Good, good friendly service, only downside is its only sunday lunch, pizzas & jacket potatos served on a sunday.

There was no draft beer... hopeless !
The food was no better than mother would cook on a bad day in 1959. Pleasant to sit out on a fine day, and the service was okay. But all in all, a poor choice for lunch.

My experience is indirect as it us gained from narrow boat residents and tourists. The consensus was positive. However, the marina has a narrow aqueduct at one end and this can create holdups. In addition to pumping and refuelling facilities at the Marina, there is a farm shop and cafe within walking distance
