I visited today with my Mum and 4 year old daughter. This was a lovely experience seeing the gorgeous highland cows. We fed and brushed the younger cows and then had a fantastic afternoon tea. The quality of the food was amazing and the attention to detail with all the highland cow pieces in the pod was incredible. Just sitting there enjoying our afternoon tea whilst watching the cows running around the field, with the birds singing - just incredible. I really appreciated how the staff checked in on us and they were so friendly. The shop is great too, with so many little cute highland cow trinkets.

What an incredible experience at Highland Cow Cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immersed in the beauty of the countryside. The highlight of the day was, of course, meeting the gorgeous Highland cows up close. They are such gentle and majestic animals, and it was a joy to feed them and learn more about their history and care.

It was equally a pleasure meeting the young lady owner and listening to her passion for growing and improving the experience. Her dedication truly shines through, making the day even more special.

A quick note for those looking to book, slots open up at set times to ensure availability isn't booked out for years in advance. It may require a little patience, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait!

The setting is stunning, the experience is unforgettable, and the hosts are fantastic. Whether you're an animal lover or just looking for a unique day out, I can't recommend this experience highly enough. A truly magical day, we can’t wait to return!

Came here for my dad’s birthday and WOW, how incredible. All of the staff are so friendly and went above and beyond. We spent about 2 hours here and finished it off in their lovely gift shop. Couldn’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

I booked our visit back in July last year and I’m so pleased we finally got to visit the Highland Cow Cottage today. My son and I had an amazing afternoon learning all about the cows from the wonderful Karl. We were able to feed them and give them a little brush. This was followed up by a delicious afternoon tea. The food was freshly prepared and the cupcakes (baked by Karl himself) were almost too cute to eat. We also had the option to opt for a soft drink instead of tea/coffee…perfect for my 15 year old. There’s a small gift shop on site and all the products are supplied by small UK based businesses so it was a pleasure to support them. This place is really popular and I can understand that some people may find it frustrating that they can’t get a time slot because so few are available, but after visiting it, I can see that their aim isn’t to market the place as a business. They’re not out to make as much money as they can by flooding the place with visitors. It was obvious that the safety and wellbeing of their cows is of paramount importance to them. I, for one, am grateful that they only allow a small number of visitors at a time. My son is neurodivergent and would have struggled if the group had been any bigger. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful afternoon. We’ve come away with so much knowledge about highland cows and my son is absolutely beaming at being able to get so up close and personal with them. A huge thank you to Karl for the fluffy notebook he gifted to my son; he’s going to be using it for his revision notes. Very excited to hear about your future plans; we’ll be keeping an eye on your socials and will definitely be coming back once everything is up and running.

Today we had an amazing afternoon with the awesome Highland Cow Cottage! The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly, the Highland cows were totally awesome! 🐮 we were introduced to each cow and the staff were so informative about them!❤️ we took lots of veg and fruit, but trust me you can never take too much to feed them! The afternoon tea experience was lovely and pleasant, and catered really well for gluten free too! Thank you so much 👌🏻

Had afternoon tea bought for me and was the most amazing experience ever, the staff were fantastic and very friendly.
The afternoon tea was delicious and home made.
But the most amazing thing of all was getting up close and personal with the furry babies. They were just so lovely and I loved every minute of my time there.
I only wish I lived closer so could visit every week.
100% I'll be visiting again very soon but until then I'll just have to wait and follow them on social media.

Had the most amazing time with my sister a couple of weekends ago visiting Highland Cow Cottage. Haven’t smiled so big when we met your lovely Coos! 🥰 To be able to feed, groom and stroke them was such a wonderful experience and one we won’t forget ❤️ The afternoon tea was gorgeous too 😋 The staff were lovely, very friendly and informative. You’re all doing an amazing job - loved it 😃

Wow wow wow!!! What can I say, what an amazing experience. I treated my wife to the afternoon tea experience for Christmas as she is a massive fan and I enjoyed it as much as she did!

We were welcomed with a big smile and directed where to go to sign in, we met with Ben who took the lead in our experience who told us all about them and the history and story behind the highland cow cottage. The cows were so friendly and just wanted strokes and brushes. We did bring a bag of carrots which went in about 5 minutes so when we do it again we will bring more food for the cows.

The afternoon tea was delicious with basic sandwiches (they catered for a fussy eater), brownie, scones and a highland cow cupcake which were all amazing. The pot of tea was so big I think we only managed half the pot so plenty to go round.

I honestly cannot fault the experience and will be back again hopefully with our little boy one day.
