I didn't have a meal but 9 of my friends did and they said it was excellent and the staff bent over backwards to help my friends it's a very nice place for a walk on the river side.

Great facilities at this local mart.
Various sales halls and offices. There is a cafe on site serving various home cooked produce depending on the time of the day. Reasonably priced and excellent quality each time.
Toilets available on site and gents Barbour's are open on various sales days.

£2.50 to get in, hand stamped, very hard to get ink off, not as many stalls as in past. Tynemouth market is better.

Had items to sell so made an appointment and took them along. The staff were so nice, so friendly and helpful. It was really a pleasure to go somewhere where everybody was happy to help. We popped into the cafe on the site too and again, great people, great food. So helpful. What a massive difference it made to interact with such nice people. Thankyou

A great place in so many ways: the place to buy and sell livestock, great and flexible rooms to hire, cracking cafe for lunches when a sale is on and other businesses available on site. Excellent parking and easy access to the A69.

Visited the antique/flea market. Was a lot smaller that I'd thought/been led to believe. Maybe it was a quiet week? Deffo wasn't worth the £5 entry each! It's cheaper later in the morning, so if you are a casual browser, it might be worth going later for cheaper entry.
