Been off mince for about 2 years because of supermarkets pumping their food full of all sorts I couldn’t even stand to cook it for anyone else based off smell alone, thought we’d give a butchers a go and we are definitely not looking back I could eat it every night without fail!! Bought a couple steaks last night too and WOW. The quality of the meat here is amazing and what ties it all together is the loveliest and most welcoming staff ever!!

I don't know why we have only just discovered this butchers when it is literally around the corner from us. I am bad with social anxiety but as soon as I stepped into the shop I was welcomed by such a friendly enthusiastic member of staff. I instantly felt at ease and very welcomed. The gentleman behind the counter was very informative of what selection of meats he recommended and he certainly wasn't pushy. We got 4-5 days worth of meats for less than £20, much cheaper than supermarkets and definitely better quality. We will be happy to return again.

Excellent, professional butchers. Good advice on all cuts of meat. Their homemade pork sausages are fabulous, and their home cured bacon has to be tasted to be believed. Ditch the supermarket & shop here. Also have a well stocked deli & sell local eggs.
Very competitive pricing & the produce is fresh & beautifully presented.

I recently moved back into the village after almost 50 years and am delighted to say it hasn't changed much.! As a keen cook I am always eager to source good quality products so decided to try Heseltine's. I remember the shop as a youngster and wanted to support local business's rather than pouring money into the big supermarkets. I have to say, I was most impressed with the warm welcome I received on my very first visit; a really friendly yet professional service. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating, but also seemed to have a personal touch, giving of their time freely to chat and offer advice; an attribute sadly lacking in today's consumer market. The meat and cheeses I have had to date have been of outstanding quality and I would not hesitate to recommend the shop to anyone. Despite offering exceptional service, quality produce, superb levels of cleanliness, the price makes this place a number one for any discerning shopper. I for one will continue to be a regular customer. Well done and thank you to Sean and both his fabulous butcher boys!!
