I’m loving this shop. It’s beautifully presented, immaculately clean and some right characters work there. My particular favorites — among their products, not their characters — are the bacon, the Cumberland and Royal sausages and the pies. But nothing comes close to their whole chickens. They are quite literally the best chickens I’ve ever come across. Impeccable!

Ordered 2 thick fillet steaks last week for husband's birthday today. Collected this morning, all sealed and ready to hand over with card payment. What beautiful meat, melt in the mouth. We had a really good celebration 'à la maison' . Thank you.

Sadly the love affair with them is over. Twice now poor service, bordering on rude and little interest in what I actually wanted. Meat quality was poor despite the £40 price tag.
Suggest people try somewhere else to avoid being disappointed

Had the terrible luck of buying a piece of soggy meat from here, after cooking for 2hrs+ we could barely carve it. looks like the meat had been plumped up with water. None of the guests ate it - not impressed.
