Stayed here to fossil hunt in Charmouth and were delighted with our stay. It is exceptionally clean and modern and we had plenty of space in our family suite. The breakfast was very delicious, and the teas and coffees in the room were good quality. There is a local bakery only a 2 minute walk away and the Royal Oak pub is a great choice for evening meal. The beach is so close so perfect for tired legs at the end of the day. Lyme is only a 10minutes drive so we had a lovely day out there. Amazing location, lovely and clean and delicious breakfast, what more do you need. I'm sure we'll be back to Charmouth again and won't hesitate to book here again.

Spotless accommodation and comfortable bed. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Delicious varied breakfast. No complaints and we would recommend to anyone and happily return. Spacious easy parking and great location a short stroll from the beach.

We have stayed at the Hensleigh numerous times and our most recent stay did not disappoint. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, the location is unmatched and we have to give the biggest thank you to our hosts. My daughter left an item in the room after we left and she called asking if they found it. Not only did they find it but they drove it over to her at the train station. We offered to pay them but they refused to take our money. We had already had a fantastic experience with them and this was above and beyond anything anyone could ask for. Do not hesitate to stay here. Read all their reviews. They do not get 5 stars consistently for no reason. Thank you and we will be back on our next stay.

Family of 4 . Amazing stay you really made us feel at home. The rooms were perfect. Clean, comfortable. The beds/ pillows / mattresses were super comfy. Breakfast was very tasty with a great range of choice. Fantastic location near the beach. Downstairs lounge area and other spaces were super with the honesty box for drinks and snacks. Super hosts including peanut the tortoise! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a really lovely and comfortable stay. The room was really well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hosts very welcoming. It is a great base. Few minutes walk to Charmouth beach, and few minutes walk to Charmouth where there are a couple of good pubs doing great food. This is our second stay here. Highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel. Very clean room with polite and helpful staff. Perfectly located between a convenience shop, chemist and a seafront thats excellent for fossil hunters. Would recommend and stay again. If you are looking for fossils this is one of the best locations. Bus access along the coast is within minutes too.

A really lovely b&b in a great location. We had room 6 which is actually two rooms, so loads of space and very clean and airy. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast and friendly staff, really couldn’t fault it. Nice to be able to walk down to the beach.

Hensleigh House is the Charm in Charmouth. Hensleigh House is immaculately furnished, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The ambience is one of total relaxation, peace and tranquility. Breakfast is delicious and sumptuous. So much from which to choose. 300 metres from the beach, perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this gem. Thank you Jayne for your hospitality and thanks to the lady who looked after us at breakfast.
