Lovely point of lay birds (laying the next day!!) also bought four super chicks. They are all very healthy and thriving.
Kate is very knowledgeable and the birds are meticulously cared for.
I will be back buying more chickens from Hens on Oxney soon. It has taken much searching and a few less than acceptable experiences with other sellers. Now I’ve finally found a fabulous, local, reputable seller 🙂 I couldn’t be happier.

I couldn’t recommend Kate and her livestock highly enough! Communication was excellent throughout the whole process, she was kind enough to help work out a solution of how to get the girls safely to me (two beautiful Light Sussex) as I don’t drive and the girls themselves are fantastic!

They are healthy, happy and extremely well socialised, you know they have been very well cared for.

Kate has been just super quick with all responses and didn’t seem to mind the relentless questions prior to picking up our first girls. Her genuine passion and care of all the Birds is second to none. Bob and Gareth are worth a visit too! We held our first egg in the first 48 hours. There is nowhere else I would go for hens now and shall be sending everyone I know to Hens on Oxney even if they think they don’t even need or want hens in their life - they do of course!

Beautiful clean location with top quality birds available. Just purchased two turkey poults from them and have never reared Turkeys before but Kate reassured me I would be fine. They have settled into their new environment and growing so fast. Certainly would recommend

I received 5 lovely hens for my birthday. They are healthy and pretty and started laying beautifully-coloured eggs the day they arrived. And tough gals kept laying even when faced with 7 inches of snow! Thank you Hens on Oxney!
