Had a visit to this beautiful village recently...and my husband went to this butchers asking about meat, he returned saying the staff in the shop were quite rude/unpleasant when he said they didn't have what he was looking for. I had previously read in the reviews someone else had a similar experience which is a shame...a business can only run with its customers, so you'd like to think the customer care would be higher. It's a shame.

Horrible place. Asked a basic question about whether there was any peanut in a product due to my son’s allergy, and just received a smirk in reply and told that they always just say yes to any questions about allergens. They were rude and dismissive and despite multiple signs advising customers to ask about allergens, they didn’t even bother to try and find out. Cafe next door much nicer in terms of produce and service.

Brilliant butchers. Their lamb is absolutely top quality as is their beef, their pies and sausage rolls.

Friendly, fairly priced and always happy to help.

Very unfairly rated on Google Maps in my opinion.

Friendly staff , lovely service , and most of all delicious meat . I brought some brisket when cooked it just melted in your mouth . I also buy diced lamb for stew , can't fault it . Well done hectors 😋😋

Decided to support the local butcher whilst on holiday and extremely glad we did.
Free range chicken, 2 thick sirloin, burgers, bacon, sausages, black pudding and a few other items. Brilliant value and much better in taste than our usual supermarket.
Will definitely consider supporting our local butchers at home now.

Excellent selection of meaty products, dark red matured beef, very nice sausages and pork. Nice dairy, raw milk and cheese, good prices, friendly, polite and helpful, good butchers.
