Order recieved well and sound after a slight delay from backorders to their supplier. Prompt response when phoning their shop.

My experience with this company was very poor,.say deliver 5-7 days but not true, ignore emails (or their system was down apparently) to cancel order and dispatch anyway. Even though courier was instructed to return the item and they got it back i then had to chase for a refund, Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Wasted my time and money (they did not even return the postage) My message to them - if you can't manage the basics of e-commerce such as despatching product in the time specified then stop it!

Worst customer service from a company I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered from them as they said my order would be with me within 5 days. This was this was not to be true fir 2 months later I was still waiting for my order. I emailed them but to no avail . In fact I ended up emailing them 10 times for a refund and no one ever got back to me. I could not contact them over the telephone. Anyway two months later I got an email from them to say my order was on the way. Only part of my order came through the letterbox and I had to wait another month to receive the rest of my order. I shall not be ordering from these ever again terrible terrible service. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered won’t be making this mistake again

Ordered on 17 June and received part of my order in July. Since then like everyone else on here I have emailed and telephoned and no reply - terrible service. I now have to go to my credit card company to retrieve the money owed.

Update - one day after this I received an email from Heaton Catering to say they were refunding the remainder of my order. It could be (just guessing) because I had reported them to Newcastle Trading Standards and got an email from a very helpful person there who said he would look into them for me .... result!

Terrible Service!!
Ordered a month ago - not correspondence despite the website saying goods will be here in 2-3 working days. I've emailed them several times, no response. When you call you're told (via voicemail) to email which I've done 5 times now and left answerphone messages. I've cancelled my order by sending them the required document...nothing. And they still have my money. Feels like a scam - please avoid using this company.

PAY MONEY TO THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK

We placed and paid for an order expecting a delivery of about a week. It was well over a week before they acknowledged the order and sent an invoice, but there was no mention of delivery time.
After a further two weeks with no communication forthcoming, an email was sent asking for a delivery estimate. We did not even get the courtesy of a reply.
We eventually emailed their Customer Service to complain about the absence of
1)any information and
2)our goods,
and pointing out that we had a very close deadline for getting the goods.
This email was again completely ignored.
Finally, despairing of ever seeing our money or our goods, since we had paid via PayPal, we started a case using its resolution centre.
Miraculously, as soon as we involved one of their money sources, within 24 hours, we got the reaction, as of a frightened rabbit, of an apology and a refund. The whole process took about five weeks.

Their excuse was "we were badly let down by our supplier". It clearly never occurred to them that we as a customer had been badly let down by our supplier - Heaton Catering.
