This wonderful venue and their staff catered for our sons 1st birthday party. Approx. 20 kids and babies and 30 adults. Food was tasty and plentiful, the marquee venue was absolutely perfect and suited our needs excellently and the staff could not have been more helpful. Absolutely brilliant day and everybody loved it.
Would definitely book for a party again. Thanks so much!

Great pub/restaurant to both eat and drink at, it’s a great venue for hosting events as it has function rooms for hire and also its big in size.
The beer and food is well priced and very good quality too, I loved the meals that we got from here.
All staff are very polite and fast at serving too, I was never left waiting at the bar long and food was always served fast.
Big area outside to sit in the sun and a big enough car park too.

We've been several times, and the service has always been very good. Overall, the food is a very good standard and well cooked and presented.

As we have a small dog, we've been allowed in the restaurant.

Plenty of parking, nice venue outside and in.

Using the mobile app is very easy and convenient.

We visited today for a family meal and overall it was a decent experience, but with a few issues worth noting.
Firstly, the website prominently advertises "dog friendly" which was one of the reasons we chose this pub. However, on arrival we were informed that dogs aren't usually allowed in the restaurant area. They did make an exception for us as our dog is small, but it would have been much better if this was made clearer on the website.
The food was generally fine, but my daughter's pasta dish was very dry, with hardly any sauce on it, so we had to ask for some extra. Also, my vegan burger was supposed to come with onion rings and "rosemary sea salted skin-on fries" according to the menu, but it arrived with neither of these – the chips were just standard oven chips.
On the plus side, the service was good and the pub itself is nice with a pleasant atmosphere and ample parking.
We probably would visit again, but hopefully the kitchen will be more consistent and the website's description of the pub as "dog friendly" will be made more accurate. The meal was redeemed by the vegan cheesecake which I really appreciated, very few restaurants seem to have vegan desserts!

We held a birthday party celebration in the Paddock room and it was absolutely fantastic. We had 20 guests and the room was perfect for the number of people with plenty of space for everyone to sit.

For food we ordered the silver option and added a few extras. The food was excellent for a buffet with a really good variety. The seafood and chicken strips went down well. The chips were fabulous and everyone liked the sandwiches. The only part of the buffet that did not get great feedback was the quiche. I personally thought it was great and had several sliced but I think it could just be the group of us. The star of the show though was the haloumi which I would highly recommend.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was brought out at the time we had requested and when we wanted a few more things these were brought out super quick.

The atmosphere was superb made great by the staff. Very relaxed and not rushed. Perfect level of attention allowing for a great time to be had by all. Brilliant venue to host a party.

Really friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Mum has had oral cancer and they cooked her veg so it was soft enough for her to eat which made her very happy. Lovely place and lovely staff
