Lovely little place . Most of there products are homegrown or locally grown, far better tasting than supermarkets! So give it a try ?

We called in here as we needed fruit and veg. To be honest it had seen better days but we bought what looked OK. Unfortunately it didn't last until the next day before it started looking very sad so we used what we could in fruit salad and stew and the rest went onto the compost bin. Perhaps we went on a bad day.

Smashing place to drop in for light refreshments with park benches available outside.
Speciality pies available either frozen or chilled including venison and stilton. Preserves, fresh fruit and veg, cheeses and locally procured pork all available.

Full of local produce at decent prices. In the spring, they also have loose seed for your vegetable garden, which is fantastic! You can buy just enough seed potatoes or onion sets, rather than buying expensive bags of a set amount. Same for peas, beans and so on.

Great selection of fab, fresh, home grown veg etc plus locally sourced baked goods and dairy. Plants and gardening stuff too. Open on Sundays (closed Tues) which is always useful. Excellent.

Lovely place and lots of preserves sourced locally, it would be nice to see more organic fruit and veg.
