When we arrived, we had to wait a bit. Then, we were greeted with a smile at the reception. You enter your car registration for free parking. The same lady was also our server. She took our drink order first. We were told where to get our refillable drinks. Before you get your salad bowls, you have to place your main order. The salad selection was generously full. I did ask a young kitchen girl to fill up one of the items, which she kindly did. The place overall looked tired and needed a good clean, or something about it was missing. Plus, they were understaffed, as some tables were not tidied up right away. Our 8oz rump steak looked great but was overcooked unfortunately as I asked for medium. The mushroom was deep-fried and burnt. Not good. The best part was the fried chips and onion rings and not to forget the buffet salad which I always enjoyed about Harvester. The waitress was super chatty and friendly when asked to pay for our bill in the end.

Had supper here with my Dad. The food was great but our main course took more than half an hour to arrive so they could do with brushing up on their service.

Despite not making a reservation on what was clearly a busy Friday night we were warmly welcomed and found a table. "Nook", our server was fantastic, her warmth and genuine nature really added to a great evening and to memories that will last for years to come. Keep up the good work Harvester and don't let Nook leave the team.

Popped into this harvester as we were in the area for an event and it was absolutely lovely, we were served by a wonderful lady called Mel who went above and beyond and was just the absolute kindest. Had the salad bar, ribs and a sundae to share and everything was perfect. Thanks for having us

Lovely atmosphere and food was lovely! Portions are large so can’t complain, salad bar didn’t have much of anything left when we arrived though. We were a party of 7 and didn’t book as we were travelling back from our holiday, but they were able to fit us in after a short wait ( half hour). Our server Diane was amazing! She was very attentive and fantastic with the children, Diane was happy and cheerful and nothing was too much for her, really can’t thank her enough for keeping the kids settled and happy and making our dining experience enjoyable. Thank you!

I recently dined at Harvester and the experience was great. Shannon and her colleagues made us feel incredibly welcome. Shannon, in particular, went above and beyond to accommodate our group. She was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, offering great advice and recommendations that really added to our experience.

Julie and Brody, who were also part of the team, were just as fantastic. Their attentiveness and professionalism really stood out, making sure that our dining experience was enjoyable. It's great to find a team that works well together and their collective effort made a difference.
A great place to go with the family or a big group.
Overall, I was happy with the service and would return.

We visited on Monday evening as we arrived to the venue I was a bit shocked that although the lights were on inside, the outside of the building and carpark were in complete darkness. This instantly gave a bad first impression.

On entering the pub, I felt the reception area could do with a good scrub and tidy up, none of it felt very welcoming.

After waiting a couple of a minutes a member of staff appeared from behind a door at the front desk, she appeared very flustered, but found our booking and directed us to our table.

The waitress was absolutely lovely and promptly came and took our drinks and food order. Our table was right next to the kitchen where you could see and hear the chefs working and chatting - this is nice, however for a family restaurant I did wonder if the chefs could refrain from dropping the 'F' word.

The salad bar was plentiful and filling. The main food was nice.

We also downloaded the app and received 25% off our main meals so that was a bonus.

Overall the place is ok - it could be improved with outside lighting and a good clean up, particularly the reception area. Also be mindful of the swearing chef if sitting on the tables near to the kitchen.
