Harmony Country Lodge and Harmony Church in Burniston, Scarborough, offered a comfortable overnight stay.

The location, between Whitby and Scarborough, was convenient, and the free parking was a plus. Surrounded by greenery, the setting was peaceful.

The decor, with cat and peacock themes, added a unique charm, and the presence of actual cats was a nice touch.

Breakfast was satisfactory, and the room had been cozy, with a neat toilet.

Tony is a nice host, if you are a cyclist, he would help you to store your bike securely. the area is very beautiful and quiet (don't expect any local shop around).

for me the best part was the fluffy cats I could play with!

Wonderful place to stay with a stunning view from the windows. We had a brilliant time , specifically with the cats. Only issue we personally had, is the cleanliness specifically the sofa had dirt mark and dog's fur . But hoover was handy so we cleaned as good as possible. Otherwise we had a lovely stay , highly recommend the place and the host was very friendly.

Thanks for another wonderful stay, breakfast is one of the best i have ever had, and the family room is lovely and warm and cosy. Tony is very welcoming and loves to chat to his guests, we have stayed here many times and I always look forward to returning. The grounds and views are amazing, you can see the sea and scarborough castle, which is lovely when you eating your breakfast.

We have stayed here for a number of years in the caravan and have always found it excellent! The caravan is clean, comfortable, welcoming and dog friendly. Tony and Sue are fabulous and really make you feel at home. The area itself is lovely and it is a great base for exploring the local area. Plenty to do and lots to see! Very peaceful and quiet. The garden is a lovely oasis and beautiful. Our only regret is we never seem to have the time to stay longer! Twice a year just isn’t enough ? Thank you again to you both for another wonderful stay. See you next year!

Genuine nice place very clean tidy warm and homely. Tony and the team have bent over backwards for me and its greatly appreciated. It was a very peaceful and quiet stay with zero drama's, loved it. And Tony is a legend of a man with many stories and a great bloke to chat too. Thank you for the stay.

The room was spotless and the host was very welcoming. Little extras in the room such as chocolate biscuits were appreciated especially after a long journey. The breakfast catered for a range of tastes and dietary requirements and cooked to perfection. The host was very helpful in finding me a private spot to deal with an urgent conference call once I'd vacated the room. Harmony Lodge has excellent Wi-Fi amenities. The whole ambience is one of peace and is very relaxing. We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely family holiday in the caravan at Harmony Country Lodge. The caravan is quite old and basic, but has just about everything you need and it was a pleasant base for us exploring the North Yorkshire Coast. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the guest house is lovely - you can see the sea glistening in the distance on a sunny day. All in all, for the price paid it was good value for money.
