We had an absolutely fantastic time on the sparkling wine tour at Hambledon Vineyard. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We learned so much about the sparkling wine-making process and were fascinated to hear how even Champagne vineyards are investing in the South of England due to the ideal conditions here.

The tasting session afterward was a real highlight—every wine we sampled was outstanding! The new restaurant looks incredible, and it’s exciting to see their garden-to-table herb garden starting to take shape.

A special mention to our tour guide, Clive, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience truly memorable. If you’re a wine lover or just looking for a unique day out, Hambledon Vineyard is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

I was lucky enough to be treated to a birthday lunch today. Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in, your coat was taken and hung up. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and very fresh. The whole experience was amazing, even my 4year old granddaughter enjoyed it! Thank you. Will look forward to doing the Vineyard tour in the summer.

Came here for birthday lunch and it was awesome. The new restaurant had only been open a day but already it was operating perfectly. The new timber restaurant building is beautiful with views over the vineyards that will only get better by the summer! Dog friendly and attentive service were high points, but the food was very good indeed. Amazing value for the three course lunch. I’ll be back!

You have to do anything you can here. We did the tour, followed by lunch, and had incredible food. Go here before everyone finds out about this place (hidden gem). I found the food overwhelmingly good, staff were lovely and chef was a delight.
We also managed to go to the soft launch of the restaurant on New Years Day. Incredible & I wish you all the luck in the world with it. You have all waited long enough for this enjoy 😊

This was without doubt the most informative and engaging wine tour I have been on. Clive was a wonderful guide, explaining the process in a logical and interesting way, as we started in the beautiful original vineyard and then toured the facilities, finishing off with tasting of these fabulous sparkling wines. The amazing new visitors centre is due to open soon and will take the experience to yet another level!

What an informative and wonderful experience at the Hambledon Vineyard tour. Our day was made just by listening to Clive - the history, the intricacies of wine making and the passionate story-telling. The lovely sunny weather topped it all up. Highly recommend to anyone who are around this place and have even a slightest interest in wines or just learning something new, Don't miss a visit to the Hambledon Vineyard.

We were lucky enough to try the new restaurant during their ‘soft launch period’ for our anniversary on 28th December. The setting is fabulous amongst the vineyards with panoramic views across the valley. The dining room is perfectly designed with large oak beamed ceilings and the tables placed a good distance apart to provide a lovely experience.
We had a fabulous lunch for two with a bottle of wine and a complimentary glass to start as it was our anniversary.
All the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable and the food excellent.
They will now close until Feb ‘25 when they launch properly.
We will certainly be back when it is open officially. Good luck to the team and thank you for making our anniversary so special.

The tour and tasting experience surely was one of the best wine tour I have been to. Clive, our tour guide, explained clearly how they made their amazing sparkling wine from the soil to grape then to fermentation then bottling. the tour had changed my view on sparkling wine and surely this was a great experience.
