Went to the farm shop to buy a kilo of roast beef this morning. I was totally taken aback when an unhappy member of staff behind the deli counter told me to ‘ring in with a days notice if intended to purchase a kilo of cooked meat next time!’

To be fair, it was a last minute meal decision for this evening & it was not busy at the counter. There were no notices nearby to indicate you had to order deli meat in advance, but there were contradictory labels on the meats displayed with prices per gram/kilo which indicates a kilo is better value. Why have the labels if customers are told to order their meat in advance? I felt quite angry, I went to pay & left. Is this the norm how customers are made to feel & treated?

I have been shopping at the farm shop for many years, but you have lost my custom now!

Great produce, I wanted tomato sausage but they ran out proving they are the best. Plenty other options. Tea cakes and orange juice and the best potatoes. I could go on. Don't forget to get a large pie with free gravy.

This was my first time visiting haighs farm shop ,it was in-between christmas and new year so I think there stocks were a little low on some items ,I bought a few bits one being 6 duck eggs and I must say they are the best I've ever had. I shall be visiting again very soon

First visit just before Christmas. Went in for a stand pie and came out with allsorts. Will definitely be back soon for more of their amazing pies and pork steaks.

I live in prestatyn,Wales, whenever I'm anywhere near gods country, mirfield, I always call in for my fill of the best pork pies around!!!!
Obviously I have to buy jam coconut slabs too.
Absolutely belting place. Long may it continue. Well worth the 200 mile return journey!!!!

Visit here fairly often. Good produce, particularly the meat and baked goods. They also get a lot of long life goods and at decent prices, tend to stock up on my drinks mixers from here. Friendly staff, always well staffed, easy parking and give away free dog bones 😊.
