I took my scrap there. Was given a receipt. 4 days later I've still not been paid. They don't pick up their phones either. I've literally phoned them 30 times. Avoid them. TK metals is just up the road and I've always had good service. Unfortunately he's not open Saturdays atm hence me ending up at Ripleys

Took them from the 18th December to the 23rd January to pay me, this is after me going back to see them twice and calling them endlessly, they very rarely answer the phone, you have to let it ring continually, I guess they pick up when it gets on their nerves. Don't know what's going on I've used them for years. Very disappointing.

Nothing but ripoff’s and even more so if you’re a female selling. Some look at you and talk to you like you’re stupid! Well.. there are plenty more places to go and by the sounds of the feedback recently.. think a lot will venture a little further to get a better honest deal.

Warning. The guy that works the scale will tell you your scrap isn't worth anything and hope you don't know better. Then tell you "but we'll take it off your hands". Make sure you have prices confirmed beforehand like I did.
