Spectacular food. Met up with my parents as it is around half way between the two of us and the food was out of this world. The pie was honestly the best pie I've ever had. Although it's an hour or so drive I will absolutely be back

Liked: Lovely sized pitch in an orchard, with outstanding countryside views. Beautiful food and drinks in the restaurant on site (they make their own Gwatkin cider). Plenty of nice walks for the dogs too. Toilets/showers pretty basic but clean and adequate for our needs. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Disliked: Can't really dislike as we knew already but if they had ehu I bet you'd be lucky to book in, it's such a lovely place.

Liked: We were the only campers at seasons end. But toilets, showers, washing up areas were spotless.Restaurant was open , food splendid. Service and staff exceptionally good. Faboulous stay.

Disliked: Nothing I/we disliked. Heavy dew in the mornings. Come on, that’s autumn. What do you want from last weekend in September 😂😂😂😂

Camped here in the apple orchard with my husband for a few days and had the best time! Showers were pristine, grounds were quiet at night and during the day we were able to hear the nearby sheep, cows and roosters. The staff were welcoming and offered us samples of their cider before we snagged a few bottles for ourselves. Fresh drinking water was available as well as chemical disposal and a place to wash dishes. Will absolutely return!

Having previously had a very good experience here, our last visit was extremely disappointing. We waited fifty minutes before our food finally arrived, only warm and very uninspiring. There was a birthday party which took preference over us. We had booked so they could have warned us beforehand or on arrival. We won't go again.

Liked: Lovely welcome, beautiful pitch in the orchard, we were the only ones there that evening so really peaceful. Toilets and showers were immaculate and no rush to move us on the following morning. Bought a few ciders and plenty of free samples to make sure you get one you like before you spend!
Would definitely stay again.

Popped out for coffee and to see what it was like before booking for a meal and were pleasantly surprised. There are two restaurant areas. The one a long monopitched beamed sunroom and then a beautiful oak barn area. Both are lovely. Meals looked lovely. Waitress was superb polite, chatty and informative. There is also a small shop area to purchase a whole variety of Ciders produced in house so we bought some to sample at home!!!
We will definitely be returning for either lunch, evening or Sunday Lunch or perhaps all three as were well impressed.

Liked: Very relaxed campsite with lots of space and nice views. Ideal for family gathering. A few animals to look at on the farm and plenty of space for kids to run around in. Camping field is in an orchard where the ground was a bit thistly/nettly in places but mostly flat wnough to pitch on. Pitch anywhere approach. Basic but clean toilets/showers. Would recommend taking own toilet roll as not always topped up. Plenty of ciders to sample as well!
