Stayed with Sue & Lester on a cycling trip and it's 5 starts all round - location, rooms, tea and cake on arrival, lift to the pub and back, friendly & laid back, best b&b breakfast going. Shame we had to rush off and not enjoy the peaceful surroundings and another fresh coffee. Thank you!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Fantastic welcome from Sue and Lester including cake and tea 🙂 Genuinely great breakfast. Super helpful helping us find a great local pub for food and a Sunday night. Thinking of an excuse to stay again soon!

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit, but we can’t remember when we’ve landed in a more perfect spot than Greystone Farm B&B.
It was all we had hoped it would be and more! Lovely accommodations, beautiful scenery, epic breakfasts, scrumptious cakes, and unsurpassed  hospitality. Our every comfort was considered by our generous hosts, Lester and Sue. Close to all we wanted to explore in The Dales, we couldn’t have chosen better. The only thing we didn’t like…was having to leave!

Wonderful accommodation. Beautiful and quiet countryside location near tiny village. Tea with home made treat available on arrival. Comfortable and perfectly clean room, delicious breakfast.|Lester and Sue are great hosts, going out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable.|Absolutely recommended.

This is a wonderful B&B - warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked - you wont need anything else until evening! It's also in a marvellous setting, very peaceful and quiet. Some great walks right from the door, with the North Yorkshire Moors (in particular the Cleveland Way) very close at hand. Lovely hosts. A very good pub (The Gold Cup) within walking distance. What more could you ask?

Three day stay at this super B&B based on a working sheep farm. Nice bedroom with a lovely view, dedicated bathroom across a small private hall, lovely lounge downstairs with tea / coffee making facilities (also have these in the room), home made cake and biscuits. Also, there is a nice area to sit outside on a patio. Good and very quiet location with superb views, very handy for Thirsk with some great dining pubs nearby as well. Great breakfast, with good range of seasonal fruits, cereals, yogurt and juice, and a generous cooked breakfast. Sue and Lester are friendly and welcoming hosts and we would certainly return.

If ever you want to escape the chaos and rush of urban Britain, farmhouse B&B's offer a unique opportunity to get away from it all. This place fits the bill perfectly. It's a bit of a challenge in the dark to find, especially with a SatNav that refuses to cooperate, but it is worth the hunt; the farmhouse and hosts are a delight.||||A private sitting and dining area gives way to 2 upstairs ensuite bedrooms both tastefully decorated, with a peaceful pastoral outlook. Sue and Lester (the owners) are warm and welcoming, and have plenty of suggestions at their fingertips for dining, sightseeing etc.||||Be warned, you will need an appetite for the substantial delicious breakfast which is included. A full cooked option is available, in addition to cereals, yogurt, fruit plates and juice. If you are lucky enough you may get to try Lester's fresh honey comb, straight from the hive.

This was a lovely one night stay as part of walking the rather strenuous Hambledon Hobble . I can imagine coming here again with friends and family. Pluses are: the location and view over garden, sheep fields and hills,the welcome and support for walkers from Sue and Lester; the guest sitting room, comfortable bedroom, spatious private bathroom (bath plus shower attachment which might put some people off but with plentiful hot water I appreciated a sit down). a very kind lift to The Oak Tree pub near Thirsk which had good meals on a Sunday night; then delicious breakfast. Just really nice and relaxing.
