We visited this place today and we were impressed with the high levels of customer service and with the wines.

We were able to see the vineyard and the scenery was just lovely.

The place in which the wine tasting takes place is comfortable. The area in which the wine tasting takes place has a chandelier which is made out of wineglasses.

A warm sunny late May day, beautiful views over verdant green countryside, steeped in history. An entertaining and informative vineyard tour, and a taste of half a dozen excellent English wines. It is difficult to think of how it could have been better.

All tours were booked on the day, they're very popular so book well in advance.

We spent the time in the tasting room speaking with the very knowledgeable "Californian Lady" behind the bar.

Speaking with her was as informative as taking the tour and I also tasted most of what was on offer.

I was a little disappointed as I read that Arancini, cheese and a charcuterie was available.

The nice "Californian Lady" informed me that it was except it was at the bar further up the hill; this is the "tasting room".

Ah well, perhaps next visit ?

We booked here to do the vineyard tour and unfortunately, the weather was dreadful but we still had such a good time. Our host was brilliant - explaining the history of the vineyard and how they made their wines. We didn’t spend that much time amongst the actual vines due to the weather but we’re going to come back when the weather is better. The tastings they gave us were very generous and we ended up buying a no. Of the wines at the end as they were just so good! Thoroughly recommend coming here.

We were pleasantly surprised, not knowing what to expect from a 'Tour and Tasting'. Greyfriars operate a single estate business focused on their sparkling wines. We sampled four wines during a comprehensive two-hour tour that touched on history, wine making, bottling and storage, a little viticulture and background to their 'grape to glass operation. The panoramic views of the Surrey Hills from the outdoors tasting platform are spectacular, and the wines are great and diversifying into still - their Pinot Gris is almost Alsastian in style - it makes one wonder how Gewürztraminer would fare here...

For £20 it represents excellent value for money. If you have Aaron conduct your tour prepare for an informative, fun and tiring time!
