Worst decision ever (read on for why).

Decided to detour here on a trip up to Manchester.

Bought two ribeye steaks and some sausages from a really nice guy (not sure on his name).

He talked me through the meat and gave me an idea of cost before cutting etc which was appreciated.

Cooked one that same night.

Oh my god.

Insane.

Best steak I’ve ever had.

I’m no food influencer or whatever but it had me taking pics left right and centre (see below).

Melt in your mouth stuff.

Now (hence why it is my worst decision ever) I’ve got to drive 1:30h from Manchester every time I want a proper steak or suffice with whatever I was doing before.

Just had the sausages too and they were amazing as well.

I’ll definitely be back!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, mostly meat products and some sauces/seasonings with a few bread products and eggs too. A more expensive place if compared to supermarket prices but worlds apart in quality, definitely worth it.

I went here for the first time yesterday and picked up some streaky bacon and two steak and ale pies which was in their freezer. The bacon was lovely, really large pieces and once the fat caramelised, it was delicious! The star of the show were the pies. They were around £6 and were just incredible. The whole pie was STUFFED with steak and the flavour was impeccable. I’m going to be dreaming about these pies lol. Can’t wait to come back and buy many more!

Gave them a try last week and was ver impressed!!
Friendly, knowledgeable, great selection and the best steak we have had in years from a shop. The flat iron steaks were tender, cooked rare and stunning flavour.

The two owners (this old lady and old man) are the rudest people I’ve ever come across in my life. They had no manners whatsoever ever. How they own a business is beyond me. Terrible customer service and would not recommend at all.

We have been buying our meat from here now for a good while.
We were living locally up and till a few months ago.
We now live in south Yorkshire. My work involves travelling so I still call into the farm at least once a month to pick up our meat.
Their meat is first class
Service is spot on
