Absolutely delightful stay at Green Bank Farmhouse! From the moment we arrived on Friday until we left on Monday, Simon and Sally, the charming owners, made our stay exceptionally memorable. Their warm hospitality was evident as they prepared delicious breakfasts each morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The farmhouse itself is a gem - immaculate, clean, and modern, providing a serene and peaceful retreat. The view from our window was simply breath-taking, overlooking the beautiful farmland and majestic mountains. It truly felt like a slice of paradise.
Our stay was perfectly timed for a visit to Lancaster University to see our daughter, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. Being from Singapore and living in the UK, I've experienced various accommodations, but Green Bank Farmhouse stands out as the best farm stay I've had in the UK. My husband, originally from the UK, also agrees it's a top-notch choice.

Wonderful stay, welcomed by Sally and Simon, friendly and helpful hosts. Room was cosy with a lovely bathroom, beautiful view from room too. Everything you needed was at hand, nice little added touches, and the breakfast was fabulous, such variety and quality products. Thank you.

We had a great overnight stay here during a trip by car to Italy. The accommodation was excellent and definitely as described, a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room, very comfortable bed and lots of space, even a couch where we could sit and watch TV. Sally and Simon were very welcoming and friendly and cooked us a beautiful breakfast which we ate while enjoying the lovely view of the surrounding fields. A very quiet location in the heart of the countryside, complete peace and tranquillity. Excellent on-site parking. Absolutely nothing to complain about, a great find and we'll definitely go back some day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gem of a B&B! My fella and I stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding locally. Can't fault our room at all, lovely big comfy bed, beautiful bathroom with 'his n' her's sinks', attractive decor with original artwork everywhere. Our room had a wonderful view of bird feeders out front and we were lucky to see a woodpecker feeding! If you love wildlife this is the place!|| There were fantastic views of the surrounding countryside while we enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfast in the conservatory. If you prefer cereal and fruit juice there's an attractively presented rustic pine dresser with a wide choice and extra luxury nuts and fruit.|| Sally and Simon go above and beyond; during my stay I discovered to my great dismay that the earrings to the new matching jewellery set I intended to wear for the wedding had useless loose backs. Sally saved the day by loaning me some proper butterfly backs. A small thing I know but I'd have been heartbroken not to be able to wear them to match my dress. ||I highly recommend this B&B. 😁☀️

We stayed here new years eve as we were attending a wedding. We pre-arraged a slightly earlier checkin so we could get ready, the owner was very accommodating which we were very grateful for. The house is lovely and in a beautiful spot, the room was really nice with a modern ensuite bathroom. The hosts seem to have thought of everything, it was a very comfortable stay. We pre-ordered breakfast the night before and the owners even offered to push breakfast back half an hour as we were back so late the night before. Breastfast was a full cooked English breakfast (and was delicious!), it is served in a lovely conservatory with a log burner overlooking the garden.||It really was a lovely stay, we want to come back to fully enjoy the area. The hosts so welcoming, thanks for such a great stay.

Excellent. A very warm welcome from Sally upon our arrival who showed us up to our beautiful, comfortable room. I ordered 'the works' for breakfast which was beautifully cooked by Simon. Was delicious but was difficult to concentrate on it due to the distracting and quite stunning sunlit morning view from the breakfast room! The place really is a delightful, peaceful, bucolic gem. Recommended.

We were welcomed at the door by the owner. Shown to our room. Sally(the owner) kindly made a table reservation for us at the local eatery. The room was comfortable, very clean, with named towels, face cloth, and shoe cloth. Great idea.|Breakfast was lovely. We had full English, just the right amount for us both.|We would definitely love to stay here again.
