Usually call in here to buy a couple of things when we're out walking the dogs. Cafe looks good but haven't eaten there yet as the dogs aren't allowed in which is understandable. Excellent selection of fresh meats at the butchers counter and always a good variety of stir fry and ready to cook foods such as stir fry, beef bourgingnon and marinated chicken breasts. There's also an excellent bakery.

Saturday at lunchtime fairy busy but still a few spare tables. Had the corned beef pie then black forest gateaux. Both exceptional especially the portions and quality. First time there but definitely not the last. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

It's always got good plants at good prices- not too expensive and they don't just die.

There is a cafe, butchers and bakery there. The food is lovely.

I reccomend the plants from here. Good quality and good value.

Been three times , food & service excellent ,each time had to ask for a ( doggy bag ) as the food was more than generous and don't get me started on the CAKES O M G to die for . The lovely chap in the Butcher shop still had his sense of humour a pleasure to be served by him . GETS very busy so be warned .

Pleasant nursery with decent prices. A lovely tea barn, coffee is very good. The bakery and butchers looked lovely but a little pricey compared to our usual farm shop.

If you are in the North East you must pay this place a visit. Recently taken over the cafe/coffee shop is has been tastefully decorated with plenty of seating. Some comy sofas to sit and chill on while enjoying the array of tasty food on offer. Butchers counter set at the back with an incredible choice of meats and cuts.
Outside the plants are the cheapest we've come across yet in the North East.
Going back on Tuesday and taking more of the family.
Highly recommended.

I bought a victoria sponge cake last week which was very nice but noticed this week they are round and significantly smaller as have some of the others for the same price , also charging a pound for extra hot water when no other cafe I've been to does.

What a really lovely place.

The farmshop is fantastic with such quality meat and produce and the staff serving were really friendly and helpful.

We ate in the cafe and the food was outstanding! Such a lovely, cosy space. Comfy chairs and very country chic.

We highly recommend and cannot wait to return....
