We stumbled across this when looking for a farm shop on maps. It does have a small shop with plants, gifts and food but that is not the main thing here. First of all there is a large barn that is used for social events. You can see pictures of the barn on the website and it's a great space. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to get some pictures ourselves. Both of these facilities however cannot compete with the main event here, and that's the cafe/restaurant. It's called The Barn and it's excellent which is probably why you should book for lunch or afternoon tea. We went for breakfast on a weekday so we were able to be seated. Weekend may be different. Split on two levels it's has great space. You need to wait to be seated but the service was quick and very friendly and polite. We were seated upstairs but that didn't slow the service. The full English breakfast is amazing. The quality and taste of fresh locally sourced produce can't be emphasised enough. It's more expensive than some but so worth it. It was also enough to keep us going all day. The whole experience was great. A visit to the shop on our way out gave us some fresh produce to take home as well. The road in is very bumpy but there is ample parking on site. The quality of the food here makes it a serious competitor to other food establishments in it's locality. A big thank you to the owners and staff for breakfast and congratulations on what you have achieved here.

I’ve just been to the Halloween festival with my son who has autism and we had such an amazing time. There was so much to do, all of the staff and entertainers were amazing! So autism inclusive. If I could give more stars I honestly would. I can’t wait to go again next year x

Just off the East Lancashire Road there is a little gem of a place. At first glance you might pass it by but don’t. Head on to the car park and venture in. The Barn is a very comfortable and friendly cafe/restaurant with delicious food and a good cup of tea. It is accessible and has a good range. Next door a lovely farm shop and its plants are more reasonable than another local garden centre. Best book it gets very busy.

It was our first visit here today and we had such a good time. I think your pricing is brilliant, the variety of what you offer, the effort you have put into not only all that but the set up... the decorations. We were so impressed.
The lady in the drinks kiosk (which again were very reasonably priced) was very friendly and even offered to store my daughters light coloured gilets if they were warm enough, whilst we visited the muddy pumpkin patch.
The girls absolutely loved the mud! We had so much fun. I appreciate that isn't your doing but something you can't help!
The bubble blowing witch was very friendly and offered to pose for a photo with our daughters who had their own mini witches hats on.
The covered eating areas you provided were very good and again thought through in terms of keeping with the Halloween theme.
The online booking process was clear and easy.
The car park staff welcomed us warmly and were very efficient.
Thank you for such a good day. We will definitely return. The best value and most fun we have had at a pumpkin picking experience x

Had lunch at the barn as visiting my sister locally. We were a few minutes early but our table was ready. Beautiful place, the staff were happy and most helpful, and the daily specials that we had were delicious. Best meat and potato pie I have had since moving down south 37 years ago! No hesitation in recommending the barn. The shop next door is also amazing for food, plants, and general nicknacks. Thank you.

Initially came here to eat Sunday Dinner at The Barn. I absolutely love their sausages and they sell them in the farm shop so treated myself to a few packs. The lovely lady serving told me about the offers she had on the fruit and veg which equally did not disappoint. The plums were to die for and cheap as chips. The biggest satsumas I've seen really fresh and juicy nectarines and a bargain bag of apples. Having now sampled all of the fruit and some of the veg I bought I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Not only were they excellent quality they were such good value, cheaper than the supermarket but 10 times the quality.

We called in here today without booking to get Sunday lunch. The restaurant was pretty full but within a few minutes they had a table for us. The Sunday lunch was delicious. All obviously fresh produce, cooked and presented very well. A little more expensive than some other Sunday lunches around but well worth it for the quality. Also a lovely little farm shop next to the restaurant. Will definitely be back again. Also staff were lovely ☺️
