I love the Christmas trees and decorations. Really made me feel like it is the Christmas Season. 🎁
Loads of different colour decoration displays.
Donkeys and Llama were a great addition.
The café was okay, Very little left in the cake choices so cannot comment on whether there would have been a GF option. We only had drinks. The café was really busy.

Overall it was a lovely couple of hours, look forward to visiting again.

I love the garden centre but if you buy the houseplants then you are seriously taking your chances, as their houseplants have deadly and devastating Mealybug (scale insect).
They don’t tell customers this!
If you take a plant from here and place it in your home then any resident plants you have will be susceptible to this incurable and highly destructive insect. It will destroy your houseplants.

A huge garden centre, however we visited to purchase perennials and the choice was extremely limited - apart from shrubs. They were mixed up with annuals too so difficult to find. Plants all looked to have been forced - flowering far too early for a cold April.
There was a massive car park but as you can see from the photographs only 3 bays for disabled. The wheelchair trolley was old and very diffucult to fit, unlike modern supermarket trolleys.
The cafe looked attractive, with a wide choice of cakes etc but was very expensive. Worse still, as you can see from the photographs, crammed with tables making it a nightmare to get to a table with a wheelchair.
In all a very disappointing visit, and as it was a long way for us to travel we'll stick with our local nursery.

Was a lovely day for my birthday, went with the sole purpose of getting a more established Japanese Acer, and I was not disappointed. It's the green feathery one in a blue pot now in my back garden. Also came home with the 2 hanging baskets and a small collection of 4 annuals, along with more compost, a new hanging basket bracket..... also stopped for lunch in the cafe. I had the BBQ beef with cheese in the focaccia bread, it was gorgeous, we shared a basket of chips and I had the strawberry milkshake. It tasted like strawberry whip 😋 .... The sandwiches were so big, we've decided we'll share next time. I couldn't eat all mine. What I really like about this garden centre, is how they display their plants, the labels which explains more about them. So much better than any other garden ctr I've been to. If you've never been, I would highly recommend it. Plus the staff are really friendly.

Wow, this place is huge! Not sure if there's anything garden wise you can't get here. The Farm Shop is amazing and the array of plants and flowers is vast. Well worth stopping off for a visit and a coffee!

This used to be an awesome garden nursery. They used to grow from seed and it all felt very much like a family.

Today it is really commercialised and that's a real shame.

Even the food shop is now some over-priced food outlet.

Real big shame.

Brilliant place to go and buy Christmas decorations at this time of year, huge selection, other times of the year it's a firm favourite as a regular garden centre, lots of choice, some really nice displays for ideas. There's a lovely cafe inside, and what I call the 'dirty burger van' outside, and that's dirty as in good basic burgers you know aint good for you, but you can't resist having one! Lots of onions! 😋
Bottoms cafe across the road too. Only got a custard tart & brew though, because they had a sign up saying 30+ minute wait for hot food and I wasn't waiting that long for a panini!!
Parking is always a bit of a nightmare though, despite a large parking area, it's always full!

THE best Christmas shop/displays: we travel here from East Yorkshire as it's so fab!!!! Prices are always really reasonable and often much better than other garden centres and shops. Well worth a visit 🙂
