I have stayed at the farm before, but it is so good had to do another review.|We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also tea and cake very welcome after the journey.|As usual the breakfast was 100%. With home made bread really good, and very good choice of everything.|Our bedroom was a different one from before, with a lovely walk in shower.|Although Mary had her son's wedding while we were there, we were looked after 100%.|Like to thank Mary and family for there hospitable ||We would recommend it to anyone who take to stay on a Devon Farm

We absolutely loved our stay at Gooseford Farm. We went for a long weekend and were delighted with our choice of BnB. We arrived late on Thursday evening and Mary was flexible with our arrival time. In the mornings, the breakfast was delicious. One of us had the cooked breakfast, but there are great options for those who don't want such a big breakfast.|Mary had a wide range of recommendations for places to eat and even a recommendation for a cold water swim! |We loved the fact it was a working farm and saw the cows milking one afternoon which was a real bonus.|The room itself was comfortable and cosy, exactly what we needed.|Overall we would thoroughly recommend Gooseford Farm for those looking for a wholesome stay in Dartmoor.

Stayed at Gooseford Farm this weekend with some friends for a wedding we were attending. The accommodation was wonderful - immaculate but cosy and very comfortable. Food was fantastic! Mary is a wonderful host too, who you feel has welcomed you into her home. Given the opportunity I would very happily stay again.

I had a lovely stay at this B&B on 11/11/22- the room was very spacious with absolutely everything I could need- including a fridge, microwave, slippers and a dressing gown… it also had amazing en suite with heated floors and everything was so cosy and comfortable! ||I really enjoyed the full cooked breakfast Julian made me which even included fresh bread! The B&B was lovely and quiet and I had a very relaxing stay there- it was very easy to find and I would highly recommend and will definitely go again if I can!

Stunning location, beautiful property and amazing hospitality. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom is perfect. Visited with a friend and shared a room with a little loft space, which was quickly grabbed by my friend, no arguments from me, I got the King Size bed. This was a little slice of heaven for us, Lorraine loved her loft space which allowed for a little privacy even though we were sharing a room.|Mary you are a breath of fresh air, you were welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We have already decided that this will be our base when visiting the area, already planning our next trip, Superb!

Booked two nights at the end of May and was made so welcome by Mary who overflows with enthusiasm! The single room was perfect, at a good price, and there were so many extra touches - such as toiletries, my own fridge, along with tea-making items, biscuits, etc. The breakfast was top quality (an amazing variety of cereals before full English and fresh bread!) and set me up for a few hours exploring the quiet lanes and villages on my bike. A very peaceful and comfortable farmhouse B and B, topped off by Mary's friendliness. Thank you from one very happy guest!

Perfect place to stay. I travel alot with work and to find a place so homily and warm with a beautiful setting. Breakfast was brilliant and log fire in living room is so relaxing. Mary our host is wonderful. If could give more than 5 star I would .

Had two wonderful nights staying at this b&b ! Very homely and comfortable. Every need catered for at breakfast and plenty to choose from ! Will definitely be contacting the farm again, when I visit my retired horse. Thank you for making me feel at home !
