Best butchers by far. We travel from over 30 miles away to shop here.
Recommend their Black pudding sausages, steak pies, black pepper burgers. louisiana burgers when available.

Went to this shop for the first time for a chicken and gravy pie. It was very nice but cost an eyewatering £2.60 (around that figure, I can't remember the exact price). I then happened to buy a chicken and gravy pie from Morrisons [Morrisons own] which was cheaper - and looked and tasted exactly the same as the first pie I had! Going to Morrisons for my pies in the future as I'd definitely save the money

I have been coming up to Redcar for years to visit my Dad. Sadly he passed away 3 years ago. I always went home with with a beautiful quiche from here. It is so very tasty! Ive never had a quiche like it. Sadly,I don't come up that way anymore.? I so wish they would deliver to Corby in Northamptonshire .

The meat from Goodswen is always fresh and suculent, their sausages are meaty with the right amount of fat and cook perfectly and my neighbours dog looks forward to eating one when we have them. They do the best home made pies that I have ever tasted with chunks of meat not fat, amazing quiches, and pork pies.

Last week I bought meat from them, enough for a family, for a week. The steaks were so tender and tasty, the stewing steak was the same. The bacon tasted like it used to and my ham and pease pudding sandwiches tasted so good. Great meat and cooked pies etc, can’t fault them.

Overall cannot fault this butcher. John is very helpful. Just ordered my Christmas turkey crown and lamb I know I won't be disappointed cause we have this for every Christmas dinner.
