Super lovely and peaceful place to stay, just as a couple and especially with a family! Owners are really down to earth and create a great starting atmosphere to an amazing night. There is plenty of space to do as you please and given that everything is provided, it makes the idea of camping even better!

The Chicken Hut is amazing, we've had 3 healthy babies and plan adding more to our little flock. Great variety of breeds and colours. I have been to different places and this by far exceeds them all. Lovely enclosures, lots of indoor and outdoor space for them to run around in. Claire is knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.

The Chicken Hut is amazing! Absolutely the best welfare standards I’ve seen and that shows in the quality of the birds. They have such a lovely variety it’s hard to choose. Claire and Dan are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also sell feed and bedding so there is everything you need here.

What a lovely place to stay! Everything you would need to enjoy a relaxing break. Lovely modern, clean decor. Very comfortable bed, lots of hot water and a powerful shower. Lots of extras, museli, fresh eggs, tea & coffee. So peaceful only sorry that the weather wasn't good so we didn't get to use the outside space.

It's a very well kept commercial fishery with secure parking and toilet facilities. I have done a recce and seen the size of the carp in the day ticket lake, but on the day caught nothing as they just weren't feeding. Will defo return and try again.

Fabulous lake, and well looked after fish.

What a wonderful place to stay, the quality of the accommodation is excellent attention to detail is just perfect. If you are ever looking for a relaxing retreat this is the place.
