Outstanding Customer Service from Gilbertson & Page

I’ve been a long-time purchaser of Gilbertson & Page’s Dr. John’s dog food from my local Proper Job store. While Proper Job offers a great selection, their range is somewhat limited. So, I decided to check out the Gilbertson & Page website and was thrilled to discover the additional options they offer.

Recently, due to bad weather, DHL, the courier they use, was unable to deliver my order for two days. When I reached out to Gilbertson & Page, they truly went above and beyond. To ensure my dog didn’t go without, they sent out a small supply of food via Royal Mail free of charge until my larger delivery arrived.

This level of customer care is exceptional and has left a lasting impression. I’ve never experienced such dedication from a company, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and their pets.

Thanks to their outstanding service, I’ll be placing a bulk order very soon. Highly recommended!

Missed delivery date on numerous occasions sometimes days overdue, enough is enough the delivery of the product is so so poor which is a shame as the product itself is very good and the dogs have been on it 2 years now but enough is enough with overdue late deliveries so I now have to find a supplier who can actually do exactly that and supply as this courier service they’re using cannot.

I recently emailed Gilbertson & Page to warn them of a fraudulent website I used to purchase 3 bags of Dr Johns titanium having been recommended the food by my gundog club.

I was amazed to receive a personal call by a really great chap called Tony. Tony couldn’t have been more empathetic and explained a few people had been caught out by the same website.

Not only did I receive a call (which would have been more than I had expected) Tony offered to send me a bag of titanium as a gesture of good will.

Customer for life over what, a phone call and a bag of dog food. It really is the little things that make a difference.

Very strange company. I'd have thought in times like this with businesses trying to recover from the pandemic that they wouldn't be refusing orders. I totally understand that the terms and conditions of the promotion that they just had was one per household but when I was ordering on behalf of my neighbours using my own email addresses, for them to then saying that they're refusing the order I thought this was very strange. Other companies let me do this. I know plenty of people that use this company for their dogs food, but I may have to reconsider where I take my business from now on, which is a shame as my family orders quite a lot from this company.

I have to say, one of my customers use your food and the coat was amazing, so I bought some for my dogs to mix with their usual food as two suffer with dry skin and poor coats.. I'm glad to say it's helped both of them and all my dogs coats are looking healthier and I have 8 dogs so price is important and all I can say is a big thank you for price and quality of food.. I'm a convert
