Great butchers with friendly helpful staff. Rib eye steaks were fantastic, plenty of choice as you can see by photographs.

Staff rude, seriously seem to have a problem being asked what hot sandwiches are on.
Not the first time, and noticed on the reviews it's not just us they're rude to either. Meat doesn't last either, burgers and steaks barely lasted 2 days before smelling off.

Sausage sandwich wasn't that nice very dry even with sauce
And the steak pie was probably one of the worst I have had

Very friendly and helpful staff! It's great to have a nearby butcher, they're very rare to find in the North East. We are very lucky to have George H Pickings butchers ?

Dispte social distancing, and a quite long queue, it went down fairly quickly, then service was helpful, friendly and quick (but attentive).
I got a piece of brisket amongst other things, which I didn't use for about 6 days, and it was was magnificent.
I have always found the produce to be excellent, and I travel about
8 miles to shop there, so I have to have a sandwich while I'm there, marvelous.
