Queued up in this butcher’s for ten minutes today and when I finally got to the front of the queue and it was my turn to be served the lady behind the counter completely blanked me looking over my shoulder to serve somebody else behind me. Safe to say I won’t be going back in again.

I travel to Buxton from Birmingham 3 to4 times a year for many many years, I have alway purchased meats , pies savouryducks beef dripping, oatcakes, not just for me but for my family who live in Cirencester and in Ipswich ,it is the very very best you can buy in my opinion, Good luck to Geoff and family for2025

Fantastic meat and the end results on the table are always enjoyed. Whatever meat, pies, jams, preserves, cooked meats and eggs everything is of the highest standard. The employees are just amazing and will always go the extra mile for every customer, the whole experience of entering the shop to coming out is an absolute pleasure.
