First time I've called here, bought some monkfish, rainbow trout, fresh prawns and smoked kippers.
Very helpful gutted my fish for me, gave a loyalty card to get stamped to get further discount in the future, really impressed with the quality and service. Will post photos next time I return!

I bought 1 slice of the salmon. It was disgusting not fresh. I can't eat it! Shame I will never buy again. Sad. I expected good quality and fresh but not edible just taste rotten. If there's a negative feedback. I will put one.

Placed my order over a week before Xmas, they told me to collect 23rd, called on 22nd to ask if there was any chance I could collect then, to be told the lobster wouldn't be with them until the morning of 23rd. I went to collect on 23rd only to be told the lobster still hadn't been delivered and then it needed to be dressed. Really disappointed to say the least, with 8 days to get my order delivered and ready, they should have managed their supply much better. I wanted to use an independent fishmonger rather than a high street supermarket, but ended up cancelling with them and getting my crab and lobster from M&S. I will never use this use this place again. Thanks to M&S our Xmas Dinner plan was saved.

I've been here a couple of times with my wife. I'm not a fan of fish but I do like kippers and GCH Kippers are very nice fried up with mushrooms and spinach. I'm also quite partial to their tuna.

An added service they have here that I've not seen elsewhere is their willingness to seal your fish in plastic film ready for freezing when you get home. This is something very helpful.

Just starting working in Bedford so thought I'd give GCH a try. Bought 5 large Sea Bass fillets. All agreed was absolutely delicious. I will be back regularly.

I shop here semi regularly - I often pick up a fresh crab, sashimi tuna or octopus which has always been delicious. I like that when I mention I will be eating my tuna raw they have on occasion cut me a piece from the fridges if sashimi tuna isn't displayed. I've also had various white fish from here which have all been great!

They're always really patient with me as I rarely know what I want until I see the selection. Love the little deli too. They used to sell smoked tuna which was to die for but I haven't seen it for a while - petition to bring back the smoked tuna! (Please!!!) 🙂

The only thing letting the place down is that it isn't open Monday and closes early enough that I often miss it after work, so I can't shop as often as I like - I think it's family run though so I respect that people need days off!
