We visited the restaurant during mid day. It was almost full (a good sign that it's in demand), but we got accommodated quickly and easily.

Great customer service, the staff are top notch.

The food was amazing, and proper fresh stakes were cooked to perfection, from animals grown right on the pastures nearby that you could look at through the window.

I'll be coming back, for sure.

People need to appreciate more the farms and the hard work put into this. It's really hard work to create such high-quality pasture-raised organic products.

And we also order online, quite regularly. It's definitely worth it.

I don't understand the negative reviews. People are quick to complain the moment a small detail gets missed, but they don't leave a good review when everything is right.
And most negative reviews I see relate to online orders, which are mostly related to postage and such shipping details, not the food quality or the restaurant (which are great and should get a 5 star all the time).

Ordered the raw milk 8 pack. Unfortunately arrived and the milk had turned as the ice packs had melted while it was being ship. Very quickly sent replacements after sending an email. Nicky was very helpful. Company was professional and honest in their dealings. Would recommend.

I paid for 6 packs of sirloin mini steaks. 180 gram per pack. Pack should have weighed 1080 gram. Actual weight inc packing 790 gram for 6 packs.
Thankfully I checked the weights. Pack are as small as 120g missing 60 gram

Buyers beware of this and check packs contain weight charged for.
The 1 star if for accurate weights. The steaks although as thin as bacon. They were tasty. I’d give them 3 stars.

To say that you won't stumble upon this place by accident is an understatement. It's in the middle of nowhere and hidden behind a very unassuming farm shop.
We found it eventually via Google and were only looking for a coffee, cake or a sandwich, etc.
The place took us completely by surprise. Far more of a fine dining experience and atmosphere than a café. Not that it was overly expensive. However it fell a bit short in the service, they got our order wrong and then it took an age to pay the bill because of issues with the card machine. All it needed was to be near the signal!
These were hardly deal breakers but I was most surprised that they didn't ask us if we had any allergies.
However, more importantly the food we had was excellent, not cheap but a cut above the ordinary and a very pleasant change to what we were otherwise expecting.
It obviously has a loyal following to survive, especially given the location.
The farm shop is a niche supplier and could be a bit disappointing unless you are looking to stock up with organic meat.

Whilst on holiday in the area we decided to visit 'Gazegill Organics and Eight restaurant' to have some lunch and visit the farm shop for some meats for our dinners.

When we got out of our car and secured it we were then greeted to 2 collies from the farm which (the long haired one) decided to try and attack our dog whilst secured inside the car and subsequently scratched both the drivers and passengers rear doors.

I spoke to a member of staff and explained the damage done to the car with which she replied 'OHH' then called the dog and walked away, absolutely disgusting attitude.

Please note this review is not based on the food because we never got that far and they missed out on us having 2 meals as well as what we would have bought in the farm shop, this review is based upon the shear ignorance of the staff and not owning up to the damage done.

If I could have left zero stars then I would have

First order! Was impressed with 3 ice blocks (had 1 for a huge order from another company, and 2 day delivery) and very nicely packed meat. Love the recyclable sausage trays. But the beef sausages..... YUMMY. Fried nicely, taste gorgeous. Thank you. Roast chicken next. Def be back for more beef sausages

I've been ordering milk from here for awhile with no issues but recently I had an £80 order left outside and went missing. Gazegill denied all responsibility and did not help whatsoever. The courier did not help whatsoever and so I just lost £80. I can't believe I just have to accept this. Very disappointed I will look for another retailer now

One time when i order lots of products like 20 items or more, I didn’t get almost half of them, the box was opened and the invoice wasn’t there! They said i will get refund but nothing until now!
Other times when i make orders was ok…all products good quality!
