Gastro catered our wedding at the end of last summer, and we truly don’t have enough words of thanks or praise for them!

Throughout the prep, Jess was super communicative and helpful, and accommodated all our random requests without hesitation, including adding and removing drinks / food items / anything to make our package exactly what we wanted.

On the day, Emily and her team were fantastic. The service was flawless, the food was perfect, and at no point did we have to do or sort anything as they had it all taken care of. Multiple guests came up to me to make the point that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had!

Really nice touches throughout the day as well, including a drink straight after the ceremony and our own tray of canapés to make sure we were eating!

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, I would! Alice and her team went above and beyond for our wedding and post-wedding party.
There was so much more on offer than just the exceptional food and premium service which I wouldn't have thought about in the early stages of planning.
Alice was helpful, attentive and delightful from the beginning in helping to design a menu that felt like a big family meal, the enormous amount of set up preparation, an even larger amount of cleaning up, high quality equipment and furnishings, running the event without a hitch, making sure we were looked after, hydrated and fed. I could keep going with the praise but ultimately Gastro were the unsung heroes of our wedding. If I could do it all over again, I would but in lieu of that I can only give them the highest recommendation knowing they'll make someone else's special day as wonderful as ours was.

We chose Gastro for all our wedding catering and drinks because of the amazing reviews, and they genuinely exceeded all our expectations. Alice and the team were just unbelievable!

They were complete professionals and literally nothing phased them in the whole process. We chose medium rare sirloin for 110 people and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was premium, from the canapés, the glassware and napkins we could choose from to the evening food which was a souvlaki pita pocket station. They also made margaritas with stunning edible flower garnishes and they created a grazing table which the guests were raving about all day.

We chose their unlimited drinks package as well and it was such a good price, we couldn’t believe it.

It was genuinely top restaurant quality food and we would recommend Gastro to absolutely everyone who loves food! They made our wedding the absolute perfect day and we couldn’t thank them more.

We chose Gastro for our wedding catering. Alice and her team were amazing from start to finish!

Leading up to the wedding, Alice listened to our every wish and made everything possible. From sourcing pink lemonade for our welcome drinks to a special type of chair we wanted, nothing was too big of an ask. The Gastro team even liaised with our suppliers to create a bespoke catering timetable for our special day. Everything was so well planned, that all we needed to do was turn up and enjoy the day!

On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect with every detail considered and everything ran so smoothly. The tables were beautifully set; the service was excellent; the staff efficient, professional and kind; the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing; the drink and cocktails delicious! All our guests commented that our caterers were fantastic and the food was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding. A food highlight was the bespoke peach and apricot crumble that Gastro created especially at our request.

After the event, with the same ease that Gastro put everything together, they tidied away with great efficiency. We really didn’t have to worry about anything.

Jess and her team at Gastro catered for my wedding in September 2024. They were absolutely OUTSTANDING! Right from the beginning the service and communication was excellent. On the day, it all ran so smoothly because of Gastro. No one ever had an empty glass, the staff were all very friendly and attentive and a number of people said it was the best wedding food they've ever had, which I agree with! There was nothing they could have improved on whatsoever. All in all, I cannot recommend Gastro enough!

Gastro provided the catering (both food and drinks) over our wedding weekend in August. The Gastro team were absolutely incredible from start to finish - Alice's communication and attention to detail were fantastic, and her expertise and calm nature very reassuring to a control freak bride like myself! The tasting with our parents was a highlight of our wedding planning experience and we felt so looked after.

On the day, the food was just as delicious as the tasting, service impeccable - despite delays caused by our speeches etc - and the presentation gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they made it all look so effortless. All our guests have commented on how amazing the food was and a couple have asked for Gastro's details for their own weddings.

I did a lot of research before choosing Gastro, and so glad we did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hope to work with Gastro again for future events. Thank you!

We chose Gastro for our wedding caterer and we are so glad we did! We are massive foodies so getting the food right was really important to us and Gastro absolutely nailed it. They designed a completely bespoke menu just for us which made it feel so special and personal for us. All the planning, organisation and communication from Jess was incredible from the very beginning and she was a joy to work with. The tasting at their HQ was a particular highlight getting to taste exactly what we would be eating on the day.

On the day our event manager Emily and every single staff member was incredible, they were all so attentive and there were so many little touches which made it lovely, like greeting us with congratulatory drinks straight after walking down the aisle! All the guests commented how great the staff were and how smoothly the day ran.

The food on the day was also just as good as the tasting and everything was absolutely delicious. Would 100% recommend them for any wedding or event!

THANK YOU Gastro Catering for making sure our wedding ran flawlessly from start to finish. We were so impressed with your customer service - from always being quick, professional and thorough when replying to our emails and calls leading up to our event to going above and beyond our expectations on the day. On our wedding day the little extras definitely did make a big difference to us, for example offering to light things at the right time, taking our presents in and cleaning up a broken glass on the dancefloor - nothing was too much trouble. The food was as good as we remembered from our tasting session (if not better) and a lot of our guests commented on how tasty their meals were. We can't rate you highly enough and we won't hesitate to use you for private catering or events in future.
