What a fantastic buffet from Pearson”s. We booked them for my 50th birthday party and we catered for 80 people.
There was so much food and the quality was excellent and our guests all commented on how good the food was. Especially their sausage rolls.
Mike was amazing and turned up on time at the venue and set up for us. Pearson are our go-to for catering now. Thank you. ?

We had the buffet from Pearsons for my husbands 50th birthday party.
It was absolutely fantastic, brilliant variety and everything was so fresh, we were so pleased.

Best pies in the county. Best staff in the town. Lovely fresh food. Brilliant home made pies sausage rolls and pasties. Scouse is lovely too. Can get a little breakfast barm. All your foody needs in one little place fantastic!!!!+++

Like others i have been buying pies from this shop since the sixties as i hail from the ferry. Now moved to the west midlands where there are many butchers who claim they have the best pies in the country and have won various awards. But NONE, and i do mean NONE of them can hold a torch to a GH Pearson pork pie. It's not only the filling, its the pastry that sets them apart. Well worth a visit, and always pleasant staff. Highly Recommended.

Truly a hidden gem- how have the hipsters & instagram foodies not gentrified the living s**t out of this place by now? Proper, old-school family butchers (chain-metal curtain as standard) simply conjuring up the best pork pies you'll ever taste- evidently baked with love, care & skill by master-craftsmen butchers at the top of their game.

Forget what you think a pork pie should be, and come & try the best. I never thought I'd live to describe a pork pie as "juicy" before now, but that is exactly what they are. Bring your own napkins and/or take liberal advantage of the free kitchen roll, or you'll end up with delicious pork juice all over your Barbour. Pastry as good as the filling, worth a review of its own, really: shortcrust, buttery and melts-in-your-mouth (if you'll excuse the cliché. They *do* make them like they used to, if you know where to look.

Always been fabulous butchers....my nan and mum used always go there ...however NEW Ferry is not and never been in birkenhead that's 4 miles away ......

Friendly staff and the best pork pie in the world. I do not say that lightly as I'm not a huge pork pie lover, but these are gifts from the gods. Absolutely delicious!
