As an aspiring product photographer with no studio experience, I asked Paolo if I could soak up some of the Future Proof wisdom - and spent a fantastic week learning from Paolo, Ben, Lucy and Biv in July.

The set-up is utterly professional, while the attention to detail is very impressive.

The creative vibe and clever ideas are truly inspiring. I’ve been lucky enough to learn techniques, tips and tricks from professionals at the very top of their trade.

I watched Paolo (and assisted in small ways) as he set up and shot products for top brands, and it’s been fascinating to see those set-ups come alive in finished stop motion videos and images.

I also joined Paolo on a location shoot to mark the launch of a new restaurant in central Bristol. The resulting set of images made me hungry, while the attention to detail and level of sensitive service provided to the client was lovely to watch.

This is an outstanding team of professionals with awe-inspiring creativity alongside a very lovely personal touch. As an outsider in their space, there was never any doubt that I was very welcome there.
