I was looking for somewhere to have breakfast, I found this place and went in and ordered a breakfast and I think it was the best english breakfast I have ever had. I have reviewed many places on my travels and this is now one of my favourites. The staff were wonderful and I hope to return again soon.

Excellent value F&C. Does breakfast as well but yet to try
March 2025. Now had a big breakfast, excellent and if having one you'd better be hungry and not planing to do any work for a few hours. Plus a big pot of tea, bargain.

This is not just a fish and chips take away - this unassuming yet very friendly place is also a coffee shop where you can have a lovely cake and a cup of tea on a cold and rainy afternoon! It is also a restaurant with a table service, which is crucial in Crowland, as the two or three pubs don't always serve food and another restaurant is often fully booked. We loved our quiet and tasty stop there - thank you.

Lovely fish and chips , albeit the staff need to be on it with customers coming in , one person was taking the money and wrapping while two staff was just standing about looking like spare parts , and this was on good Friday!!! Staff need to speed up and look lively... the fish and chips tasted so so good .....

Very poor food. We ordered 2 x plaice & chips, 1 vegan burger & onion rings. The vegan burger consisted of an overcooked burger in a dry bun. There was no butter, salad, vegan cheese or sauce. Please don’t offer a vegan option if you can’t prepare one sufficiently. I don’t know how much you charged for it, but it wasn’t worth it. The fish & chips were bang average and the onion rings had a bit of tin foil in the box. All in all, definitely not worth £34. A real shame because this used to be a good fish & chip shop.

I would like to give them five stars after hearing positive feedback about their fish and chips meal. In my opinion, it was decent, not the best around, as others have claimed. Perhaps my expectations were too high after hearing others rave about their fish meals. One thing I found off-putting was when one of the employees put a chip in her mouth while packing a customer's order. They were not a particularly sociable lot. A smile would do wonders for a first-time customer. Maybe they had a fall out before I walked in. That was the impression I had.

Great breakfast all at a good price.bonus eating in very helpfull takes all comments on board great fish chips too.
Another great meal at frydays ploughmans lunch fresh and tasty ,nothing to much trouble asked if could have in the evening not a problem this is what we had plus followed by great cakes to take away .

Great breakfast selection now at shop - had a builders bap and well worth the money. Friendly customer service from the moment we entered! The chap serving gave us complimentary drinks which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back, great family service all round. 🙂👍
