22/7/24 11.30am , black Volvo xc90 Green waste area . Owing to an extremely poor and repeated unreliable Green waste collection services and notices at Redbridge Council and as an ageing pensioner I had to take at my own expense the degrading and mounting bags of waste to the centre . A tall dark young man at the Green Bay area saw me struggling to carry my green bags and suddenly jumped straight into action to help me and one other pensioner also struggling; this courteous worker should be given the highest accolade possible , I certainly hope the other members of staff would apply the same gesture from time to time …I certainly haven’t experienced this manner before. Thank You young man.?

First time I have been to this recycling center. I find it cleaner and tidier compared to the other recycling centers I have been. Staff are friendly and efficient. Will definitely return to that one in futur.
Update on 25/06. I went today to the centre and I am amazed by the very kind help of someone working there. It was very a hot day, and my car AC started not working, my daughter was feeling hot. And a kind staff helped me through this unfortunate situation, he was fast and effective. I am very impressed.

Haven’t had problems besides 2 rude colleagues that work at the far end where the non recyclable mixed waste goes, Shouting at me. was my first time there, all they had to do was explain what I did wrong instead of screaming at me, didn’t want to cause a scene or would’ve been a different story, but needed to get rid of the rubbish. One old fella, and one fella who had an accent. Saying “brother use your brain” I’m not your brother pal. They were having a go at other people too, not just me. Clearly not enjoying their job, just leave, resign, goodbye…
