I ordered a custom Hungry Caterpillar cake and it completely exceeded my expectations! Emette was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the craziness of wedding planning. She made our cake to fit in with our wedding theme, supported us to rent a cake stand and even provided vegan cupcakes for some of our guests. Delivery was smooth and we are still having comments from our guests almost a year on about both how beautiful and delicious the cake was. Highly recommend ⭐️

I am a longstanding customer of Friddles, Em has made every single one of my children’s birthday cakes for 8 years now. Each time is a joy, I tell her the theme or concept and let her surprise us with a design. I can tell you within a week my children have forgotten what presents they had for their birthdays, but they’ll remember their cakes forever. Pictures are just a small selection.

We have recently ordered a cake for our child’s birthday and would just take some time to recommend this place. We were talking and arranging everything with Emete and the communication was very relaxed and spontaneous. She took her time to explain everything to me over the phone, but also confirming it straight away in writing too, to avoid any confusion. She was very flexible and helping us find the best option that would work with our guests number and our budget.
The flavour was very rich with lots of white chocolate and the layers looked perfect when cut too.
But the special praise goes to the design. Our child loves Octonauts and I only said what we need to have on top of the cake, but she also added his name and also some other small details to make the cake look amazing. She went above and beyond with the cake design and I’m so sad i don’t have a better picture.

Absolutely wonderful experience getting our son's 4th birthday cake from Em! Communication was smooth and quick the cake was wonderful. When we ask our son what was his favourite part of his birthday party he always says his cake. Everyone had lovely things to say and all asked where it was from so I hope I sent some people your way! The cake tasted beautiful too! 5 stars all round!!! Will definitely be back!

We were having a joint party for my wife and daughter's birthday. I wanted a special cake and Friddle's did the job. They both love books, and Emete produced this wonderful bookcake. It looked fantastic and tasted wonderful too!

Highly recommend! I wanted a 3-tier wedding cake for around 100 guests with a vegan tier - no problem! Excellent service from ordering, through to delivery and set up, reasonably priced (compared to others!), fresh flowers, beautiful decorating and the whole thing was delicious too.
