We went for my son's first birthday and was not disappointed. Firstly the farm shop was brilliant. Very clean and very big, much bigger then it looks from outside, they sell lots of fresh produce here, meat, Jam, eggs, everything. And tasty hot coffee too. My family and I got a couple coffees then sat down and fed my son using the sites high chairs (which where lovely and clean) then we headed into the farm. With two bags of feed we saw rabbits, goats, sheep, donkeys, ducks and chickens. Really great farm for little ones. We did go when it was raining (poor planning by us) but didn't stop us. Had a lovely couple hours out. There are toilets and baby changing facilities on site. And plenty tables for lunch. Recommended everyone goes, especially if you have young kids.
We will definitely be going back, not only to see the animals again but also to buy some of that tasty meat I spotted in the shop.

Perfect fun for toddler aged children. Not too big, easy to get around, and lots of fun things to do. Staff were friendly. Farm shop had nice sausage rolls. £3 entry to farm experience day which we thought was excellent value.

Wow amazing food

I was looking for a good place to buy my meat for Christmas. I found Foxholes Farm and looked into reviews which were great.
I ordered online and collected the Lamb and Chicken as we’re not Turkey people.
Collecting was well organised and assisted by some lovely staff who were extremely helpful with cooking times.

The meat did not disappoint. It was very tasty and moist. I had so many comments from family on this. I also popped in the farm shop to pick up some of their sausages and pigs in blankets. They too were very tasty.

I was so so impressed that I then ordered meat for News Years Day. I was late for placing the order so collected late morning not knowing how busy they might be. I picked up the meat from the Farm Shop Butcher. The two gentlemen were an absolute delight to chat with and the meat was ready. Picked up some more sausages at the same time.
Today we had our New Years Day and again the meat did not disappoint.

I will definitely be buying my meat from Foxholes Farm Butchers in future. To eat fresh good tasting meat was a delight instead of the supermarket offerings which you have no idea what rubbish is being fed to the animals and has no taste.
Yes a bit more expensive initially but when you break it down to per person and that I get two meals out of the purchase, it’s not that expensive. Regardless it is well worth it for the taste.

Picked up some meat and fish today (Friday) and was delighted to have it placed contact-free into Tupperware I brought from home. I just cooked the salmon fillet for dinner and it was beautifully fresh. I am conscious of sustainability and was pleased to find that the butcher is very well informed on the source and method of catch of the fish. Also good for plastic free fruit and veg. I will definitely be returning.

Foxhole Farm is a brilliant place for young children to visit and play. Booking on line is pretty straight forward, you are given a wrist band and given advice on the animals who you can feed and not feed. Staff explained lay out of the petting farm where to wash your hands and where the toiltes are. My advice would be wear wellies and outdoor clothing if you like jumping in poodles, going through tunnels and climbing walls. You can buy a bag of animal feed for a pound. There is a nice play area with tractors and trailers for children to play. There is plenty of on site parking.

The butchery and farm shop are amazing, I ordered all my Christmas meats from them and they were amazing.
I regularly pop in and grab some bits .

Absolutely stunning Glamping site ~ could just sit on the verandah, watching the birdlife or feed the wide variety of farm animals. Kids playground close by. Farm shops round the corner. Beautiful
