The meat here is expensive.. however I knew that before I visited. The butcher was very helpful and very friendly. The produce is Quality, I guess you get what you pay for.

Been going for 4 weeks now and tried bacon, sausage, rump steak, braising steak, lamb , beef burgers and a beef joint ....found so called rump tasteless and tough and won't buy steak again from here again and will only buy braising steak if any beef again. Very disappointed as all stuff wrapped in plastic and not as expected for a so called "high quality/organic butcher's "
with high prices. Was looking for "high quality grass feed butcher's " but unfortunately this isn't it. Continue my search for quality beef.

I thought their smoked bacon was the best I’d had. This was a year or so ago. Hoping to go back soon so hopefully the standard is the same!

Organic beef and lamb from field to farm shop!

I rang ahead to a very knowledgeable butcher (trust me, being vegetarian for most of the year I cannot tell you how many butchers don't know where their meat comes from or the processes by which they have been reared, slaughtered and cut). The man remembered my name and actually up-sold me a couple more things, which I was very happy to do to support their local trade.

Price point is excellent I would say for the meat, more expensive for the farm shop items. Looking at price per KG comparing to Tesco for non-organic the lamb shank I just bought was a close matched price.

I WILL be returning. And I might even treat myself to meat more often. I was eyeing up one of the cows in their field on the way home.

First time I went to Forsters Farm shop. Really nice couple. Very helpful and the beef joints I got where the best Iv had. And the other bits I got was really good quality. It’s the only place I will be going from now on. I will be going back again tomorrow. See you soon. Thanks
