Me and a couple of work colleagues visited the butchers today. It was cash only and we had no cash between us. The friendly gent that was serving us said pay later you have trustworthy faces. I thought that was a extra ordinary thing to do. There is some faith out there after all. Pies were perfect too, pastry was bang on. Thank you Mr butcher will see you soon

It's a fantastic little butchers. Whenever we come up to Whitby, we always go the this Butcher. John is such a nice guy, so friendly (but then all folk for Yorkshire are)

This butcher' sells the most superb meat! - I travel up from Lincolnshire three times a year and never go home without a visit to fill my freezer with the wonderful beef and pies . . friendly, good value, and first class quality every time . . . (you might leave with an empty wallet !)

Having visited your area and purchased breast of lamb, chops and sausage from Fords butchers in Glaisdale I hope the good people of this part of yorkshire realise what an asset they have in John.
The quality of his meat is wonderful, I live in Warrington Lancashire and find it almost impossible to find a butcher let alone one of such a high standard.
