Excellent customer service.
I ordered a large amount of meat on short notice and Alister and his team were fabulous. The meat was beautiful, fresh. The team work while preparing the meat in front of me was beautiful synergy. I will only use fodder butchers for my catering.

Excellent cafe, with a good selection of food including breakfasts and lunches.
The staff are very friendly and efficient and Julie was an excellent waitress.
We had lunch and the food was very good.
Had Ceaser salad and hot beef sandwich,salad and excellent chunky chips.
Both meals were very nice, and good portions. The cafe is very clean as are the toilets. Good access and plenty of car parking. The adjeacent farm shop is currently temporarily closed for refurbishment but the cafe is fully open.
Will definitely call again

We met some friends there for breakfast, firstly the staff are so welcoming but being a southerner I love the Yorkshire people they are all so friendly. The breakfast was faultless we all enjoyed what we had. The shop is stocked with a lovely variety of local produce and we will definitely be coming back.

I went with my two friends today (5 December) to have lunch in the cafe. It was quite busy but we got served quickly.

We all had meals which we enjoyed and I particularly loved my choice of the Spinach and Parmesan quiche which was super, light and full of flavour. I would definitely eat at Fodder again and would recommend it to all my friends. I asked the waitress who had made the quiche and she told me it was a chef called Stephane. I asked her to tell him how wonderful it was and that we would definitely eat at Fodder again.

Stayed at the Caravan site next door and used the cafe and shop every day. Brilliant breakfast and service each morning. Shop has all you can need and some great local products. The bakery section is superb!

What a great place this is to eat, with lovely surroundings and with very helpful and happy staff you are made most welcome here.
We were waiting to get into the exhibition centre to start the de-rig on a stand we had there and decided to have lunch there whilst waiting.
We were 3mins till they stopped serving Sunday roasts but still managed to one, and I am glad we did because it was absolutely scrumptious with beef cooked to your liking and in a very generous position, using locally sourced ingredients.
If in the area again, I would definitely visit here as the cake looked absolutely yummy here to with big slabs being served up👍

The staff at this farm shop café are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to get a lovely window-side table, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The café offers a fantastic deal— a selection of pastries or cakes served with ice cream. I chose a ginger tart, and to my delightful surprise, the ice cream was also ginger-flavoured! It was wonderfully fresh and delicious, truly showcasing the quality of locally sourced dairy products.

The service was warm and attentive, making our afternoon tea even more pleasant. Besides the delightful treats, you can also find some charming local products, like Yorkshire crisps with Worcester Sauce— a perfect snack to take home! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this lovely farm and café.

We usually go for brunch on a Sunday and sometimes drop in to the deli for a nose about and a couple of bits. This time I went for a proper look at the butcher's counter and dry ager. We had a good chat with the butcher about his dry aged beef pieces and got a beef wing rib cut for us to roast later on. It was a bit less than half the price I've paid for good quality bone-in beef sirloin I've bought in the past, but it was at least equal in quality and flavour!

For the two of us (and we're big meat eaters!) it's worked out at £4 each per meal, plus a couple of very generous beef salads as well. Thank you Fodder, we'll be back to try the lamb and pork!
