We found this B&B quite by chance as we needed three bedrooms for our family for a busy weekend (attending a wedding in Dartmouth) in early August. Foales Leigh Farm sits in the middle of truly beautiful and peaceful countryside. It is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay and the breakfast is top quality. Catherine, Martyn and their family made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. The highlight for our ten-year old son was definitely the ride on the farm tractor with Martyn! After only two nights, it felt like saying good bye to friends and we would love to visit again.

Fabulous converted barn with lovely, character rooms, all ensuite. Set in the rolling hills of the Devon countryside, heavenly peace & quiet, panoramic views, lots of sheep! Catherine & Martyn, the hosts, are warm, friendly & welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble & Catherine makes the perfect omelette! It’s a great location for exploring delightful destinations such as Dartmouth,Totnes, Salcombe & stunning beaches. Be sure to bring a sturdy, but not too large vehicle to tackle the narrow access lanes. Will definitely be returning, hopefully in the nit too distant future.

My wife and I have just returned from a week at this beautiful B&B. Catherine is a wonderful lady and we feel as though we have known her for years. Our every need was asttended too but we did enjoy just chatting to her. The rooms are excellent, comfortable beds, spotless and the breakfasts "to die for". THe location is second to none and on returning home my wife and I have decided this is one of the best, if not the best, holiday we've had in 50 years!

A real gem tucked away in the countryside with stunning views and walks all around. The rooms were immaculate and having use of a 'private' lounge was a bonus. The breakfasts were amazing and we were even treated to a lesson on poaching eggs! It all added to making our stay with two other couples so much fun. Catherine and Martyn made us feel so welcome and were able to recommend some first class restaurants nearby. No need to find an excuse to return!

Set in the rolling hills of the South Hams in Devon, Foales Leigh is a charming farmhouse with modern accommodation and en-suites. We experienced great hospitality from Catherine and Martyn and help with planning our stay for the best experiences. Breakfast is a traditional farmhouse delight which can be enjoyed simultaneously with the panorama of the local views. We look forward to our next stay.

Our second stay at this excellent b&b. Beautiful rooms and scrumptious breakfasts. Made even better by out lovely hosts Catherine and Martyn and Ellie and Tom. You will not find nicer people.

We knew what to expect when we booked, inasmuch it would be located somewhere down a narrow Devon lane, and that is where it is. Nevertheless, Sat Nav Sally got us there without too much trouble, and we were well rewarded. Well appointed, spotlessly clean comfortable bedroom, access to a huge lounge/diner with leather sofa’s, good wi-fi and private parking. For breakfast there were numerous cereals provided as well as fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice, toast, jam & marmalade, coffee, tea and of course, the “Full English”. Being a vegetarian, my wife required an alternative, and poached eggs were duly provided. A family run B&B, the hosts, Catherine & Martin have lots of information about the local area, and along with their two children, you are made to feel “most welcome”, almost a “home from home” environment.

One of the best holidays we have had in a long time. Fresh out of University, my girlfriend and I were looking for a short stay to celebrate. I had visited the farm years ago with family (on multiple occasions) and was recommended it this time around by my dad. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. A warm welcome, beautiful room and fantastic breakfast spread all contributed to us leaving feeling well rested and happy. Can't fault it at all!
