If you like to wait over half an hour for two cups of tea, can of coke, two pasties and a sausage roll which never arrived the table this is the place to go. Ended up asking for a refund after waiting so long. The woman who seems to run it is really grumpy and the staff are miserable.

A good local cafe, with freshly baked pasties, bread and cakes - and lots of seating for diners.
Not without fault - they had run out of cheese scones by 12.30 - but we really enjoyed our lunches, and it is good value.

Had the traditional pasty with gravy and mushy peas was absolutely delicious was very reasonable the price and the staff were very nice and friendly will definitely be back next time I’m in Buxton.

Called in while in Buxton. Food was ok but no great shakes and limited choice. Whilst I was there I so around 15 people turned away from the cafe as there was not enough clean pots available and up to an hours wait. Yet lot of free tables with dirty pots on. Potentially lost a lot of money. No menus on table had to ask. Needs addressing poor management.
