The Best Butcher & Pie maker there is!
As someone raised in a national prize winning Butchers shop in Southport & having been a chef to Royal's myself, I know good food when I taste it.
I popped into this amazing Butchers to buy some lamb chops, I bought some sirloin steak and also some of their prize winning pork pies and I have to say that all were totally delicious. The pies are the best I have ever tasted, beautiful flavour, crispy moorish pastry that is not greasy or soggy like other brands. Gorgeous and moorish and I was soon ordering more. The steak was delicious as were the lamb chops too, fantastic high quality meat & pies. I can highly recommend them, you will not get better. I know good food when I taste it and see it and this is the place to get it. I have just had pies and meat delivered, brilliant fast delivery service too. What more could anyone ask for! Brilliant I will be back for more. Lovely helpful courteous staff too, brilliant shopping experience. I can see why their pies are prize winning! Fabulous!

We asked Firths to be our wedding caterers and we were blown away with the commitment, quality, quantity, service and organisation of everybody involved from Firths.

Every single one of our guests thought that the food (Antipasti, Mediterranean Chicken) was incredible. Nobody was left hungry and Andy even organised an Ice Cream van for dessert (that arrived right on cue!).

Andy was our Master of Ceremony and was so committed to making sure our wedding was an amazing day. He went above and beyond to make sure that everybody in the marquee was doing what they were supposed to do (DJ, Bar, etc.). The waitresses couldn't have been more accommodating and guests commented on their professionalism.

We cannot recommend Firths (and Andy) highly enough - simply outstanding.

Went to Firths for the legendary fresh l, traditional, pork pies and I am now wondering if I can really justify a 400 mile plus round trip for a half dozen more.
Thoroughly recommend a visit if you are nearby, great pies, great scuffles, the girls were lovely....and...they took a scottish tenner so 5 stars all round.

Fan of butchers and pork pies. This shop is ok, but better value and help elsewhere - farm shops are a better bet. Plus pork pies are average to our tastes.

It's taken a while deciding our preferred choice of local butcher and here it is.

Extremely friendly and helpful, the staff and butchers put time into making sure you get what you are wanting, and at the best value.

Quality throughout, the steak pies are out of this world and they have some good pre seasoned / pre prepped meats with some great ideas, such a as the beef lattice !! Genius !!

Have tried all the local butchers around rothwell, garforth and crossgates areas and this stands out for value, quality, choice and most most important... The customer service !!

Will be ordering my Christmas turkey and meats from here this year !!

Visiting Garforth for the first time and popped in to try the award-winning pork pie.

It was probably the best pork pie I've had - super crisp and flavourful crust (exactly as I like it) and similarly tasty pork filling.

Assuming everything else is of a similar standard, I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try.

Irresponsible and potentially scamming. Bought these Italian meatballs this morning for £7. There were 3 trays and the guy serving put the first 2 on the back bench then gave me the one on the bottom and wrapped it up before I could look at it. Turns out the cheese has gone moldy, with patches of white fur. No receipt given or even offered. Avoid!
