I recently asked fireprotection online to supply, install and certify 24 fire extinguishers within our premises. All correspondence was over email and i could not have made it clearer. They provided me with a quotation of £1665.25 which i accepted and paid for.
The fire extinguishers and associated parts arrived (with the exception of some of the signs which i am still waiting for) and 2 engineers came out to finalise the order.
After a brief conversation with the engineers they informed me that they were only here to unpack and certify the extinguishers and that no installation instruction had been given to them.
I called the office to ask for a resolution, which i didn't expect to be a problem. It seemed to be an honest mistake, they missed the installation off of my quotation.
Any reasonable company at this point would accept that a mistake has been made and rectify the issue at no further expense to the customer. Even if it ment coming back on another day - which wouldn't have been a problem..
But Fireprotection online, although they did admit a mistake had been made by themselves, they point blank refused to rectify it without me paying a further £280 to cover the cost of installation. Meaning at present, i have 24 fire extinguishers, a cabinet, fire blankets and signs dumped in our workshop for us to install ourselves unless we pay more than the quotation we agreed to.

Absolute first class service!! Called them on the Tuesday as needed our Fire Point Trolleys servicing at short notice, they managed to fit us in on the Wednesday as well as supplying a new unit next day. would highly recommend this company.

On the 23rd December I was delivered a broken fire extinguisher, which I reported immediately to the company. 1 month on and the broken fire extinguisher has not been collected by the company !

Very poor service. Offer next working day delivery and take your money. The next day (day of delivery) they call to let you know they don't actually have it stock and can't get an alternative out for another 2 days. Top tip 'Fire Protection Online', don't promise what you can't deliver. On top of that, they can't refund the money for 5 days for something they didn't have to sell.

Fantastic service...Having ordered the wrong item (my fault), I was extremely impressed with the after sales support and service. As a builder sourcing from multiple suppliers, good service really is hard to come by, and this company has really impressed. Thankyou, will definitely recommend
